Enjoy stunning breath taking sunrises or stroll along the sandy shoreline beachcombing listening to the waves gently roll upon the shore, or sit under the romantic moonlit beach enjoying a roaring bonfire and try to count the stars dancing in the sky. Cook over the open bonfire for a memorable evening with your close friends and family right on the Beach , enjoying yourself either by roasting a marshmellow , hot dog or consuming a adult beverage which is nice, alcohol is allowed on our private beachfront, shoreline can change with the speed of the wind.
Try out our world class fishing on Lake Erie , fresh water perch and walleye are some of the best eating. Private boat launch available, Breast Bay Marina is less than 2 miles away. Charter a fishing boat for the day at the Marina they offer all day or half day excursions , Then come home to enjoy your Fresh fish fry of your own bounty.
Enjoy this home making memories with over a mile of private beach, beautiful sandy bottom great for swimming or sunbathing , even tie a raft or tube to just float and relax. There is a private canal in front of the home it is useful for casting a fishing line or two to see what you might catch , the kids love to do this never knowing what fish will be on the end of there pole or just hearing the bullfrogs at night and watching the turtles sunbath on the logs with the cranes.
Winter activities: Enjoy ice skating on the Lake or canal in front of the house pictures shown, make your own Hockey Rink or just do some free style skating , ice permitting; some of the best ice fishing right in front of the house. Bring your skates, sleds, or ice shanty for fun in the winter time in Michigan at this cottage.
First floor of the home offers a open floor plan ceramic tile through out entire house; granite counter tops, fully stocked kitchen everything you need to grill, bake or blender for magnificent Rumrunners! dining room over looking Spectacular views of the lake , additional dining in the Sunroom for that early morning quite time reading a nice book or gaming area at night with the windows open to feel the cool breezes off the lake or listening to the waves roll up the shoreline. Laundry rm with washer and dryer, extra card table/chairs, bathroom half bath., huge living rm with wood fireplace for those chilly nights to cozy up and have hot chocolate
Second floor offers 4 bedrooms : 2 KING, 1 QUEEN , 1 FULL , 1 Bunk, 1 fold out, full bathroom shower/tub . All beds covered in designer linens, high end mattresses and bedding. 2 bedrooms face the water for stunning views while the other 2 are on the canal side listening to mother nature This is a Great Lake so as there is no control of occasional high winds creating waves that sometimes bring in seaweed as well or bugs

Summary: We stayed at this quirky, cozy home in January 2024, visiting grandma who lives in town, and it was wonderful to have enough space to bring family together from three states. The young folks had space to get away from the noise when they needed to do homework, and they competed quite a bit at foosball. We all enjoyed the amazing views of the water from the dining room. It’s different every few minutes, and quite spectacular.

Summary: The backyard was a big draw for me because one of my favorite things to do is to relax with a view. Every morning we drank coffee with a view of the sunrise and serene lake. In the evening we had a campfire in the same spot. The house is spacious and comfortable. My boys really appreciated that there was a basketball goal in the driveway! The host was helpful and kind. We also found some good restaurants and caught a Pistons game!

Summary: We came into to town for a 5 day stay 2 day bass tournament 3 day practice. Driveway was tight but managed to get three 21 foot bass boats and trucks in without unhooking anything. Lake view was nice and the sounds of the waves crashing shore put you right to sleep. House has everything you need and more with a nice sunroom with lake view along with the kitchen's large table facing the lake for morning coffee while watching the sunrise. Roxy was a great host being there at a moments notice. Weather on the other hand for us was nothing but crap LOL but that's the great lakes for you. Great fishery and great place to stay.

Summary: We had an absolutely delightful time. Roxanne was super helpful and accommodating. We had a full house but still had plenty of space to spread out. Lots of rooms to chill out and relax in. We loved the beach and backyard area. The area is calm and quiet. There are lots of amenities like foosball and kayaks. It's the perfect vacation for a big family that wants to relax by the beach.
