This newly furnished and freshly renovated cottage-style home is comprised of a 5-bedroom main house and 1-bedroom guest house on a seven acre private lot on the northwestern corner of Crystal Lake, a stone’s throw from Rock’s Landing restaurant, and a 5-minute drive from Lake Michigan and Crystal Downs Country Club.

Summary: Our recent stay at this property was an experience to remember! The property manager was professional and incredibly prompt in addressing any questions or minor issues that came up during our stay. Their efficiency and attention to detail greatly enhanced our experience. The house itself is set on a steep hill, which gives it the unique feel of a treehouse. This elevation also comes with an added bonus - the most amazing views of Crystal Lake! Waking up every morning to such breathtaking sights was truly a treat. An absolute highlight was the covered hot tub. Even when the rain came down, we could still relax and enjoy the warm waters. There's something quite magical about soaking in a hot tub while listening to the rhythm of the rain. The property consists of two houses, which was perfect for our group of family and friends. One house offered a fantastic entertaining and cooking space, allowing us to share meals and play games. The other house had smaller common areas and provided plenty of sleeping spaces. This setup catered to all our needs, and everyone in our group felt comfortable and well-accommodated.

Summary: The location is perfect. The benefit of being not on lake/set off a little from road was it was very very quiet. The house/guest house match up with all the photos - it really is that beautiful. The arrangement was perfect for group vacations - so much to do. 2 kitchens to cook in. WIFI was really good (all of us had meetings to attend). LOTS of beach towels - which we really appreciated and used. Lack of mosquitos on the porch was a bonus (not sure why no mosquitos on the porch). So much to do in the area - and everyone is nice and friendly. We didn’t want to go home. Property mgr was very very responsive (no major issues, we just are type that ask questions). You will need sleep eye masks for several of the rooms - no curtains. It is MUCH darker at night here (you can see stars at night) - but the moon can shine brightly too. Beds were very comfortable and all was quiet! Coffee pot is a fancy Brun - you will need to read the instructions to understand. It brews instantly when set up correctly - and can brew constantly all day (yep, we are big coffee drinkers). I (wife) was able to use the child size kayak, but can’t be too big or you will sink ;-). We also did SUP rental from owner. OMG - so peaceful, Crystal Lake is made for SUP. Sigh,,, but we are home now. No more paradise. No more cherries. No more pretty stones to dig through on Lake Michigan…. Next year!

Summary: We were very fortunate to find this property. We had booked condos in the Homestead a year in advance and due to issues with the building’s plumbing we were left scrambling 24 hours before checkin. By some miracle this property was listed just hours before our other rentals fell through and had enough room for our large group. The home and guest home are beautiful. The views of the lake are incredible - both in the day and under a beautiful moon and starlit sky. Upon arrival we found a beautiful bouquet of fresh sunflowers, handcrafted soap, a jar of whisky cocktail cherries, and a kind welcome note. The home was well stocked with new linens, some new appliances, and anything you may need for preparing a delicious spread and entertaining. With any new listing there were of course some hiccups, but the property manager John responded promptly and efficiently. John even brought us some Stand Up Paddle Boards to use for the week. The condo is also stocked with beach chairs, kayaks, a canoe, fishing poles, bikes, and a golf cart (although we never used the cart or the bikes). Overall we had a very nice stay and are thankful we were able to find such a beautiful property with a kind and attentive property manager.
