Summary: Cannot say enough wonderful things about this place and the hosts Frank and Linda! This place may be small but it has everything you need and more, especially if you are looking to get away from a the busyness of everyday life. Come to enjoy God's creation, that is the most wonderful thing about being there!

Summary: All I can say is WOW! Frank and Linda are absolutely great folks and the view from the back porch was beautiful! Linda was so thoughtful and had baked muffins, cookies, and an anniversary package for us! Btw her baking skills are level 10! I very much enjoyed visiting with Frank at our check in. The proposer was PEACEFUL exactly what we were looking for. We will 100% be making a return visit to this gem in east texas.

Summary: Property was as described and very comfortable for us and our pups. Caught some fish, saw a magnificent sunrise, and the extra bonus was meeting Frank and Linda. They simply made our experience so special from Linda’s surprise homemade treats to Franks contagious laughter. Genuine beautiful people💕. Definitely going back!

Summary: Our stay at The Second Wind cabin was everything we wanted and more! We had every need met and were amazed at how peaceful the environment was. We will definitely be returning soon!

Summary: From the moment we started talking with Frank and Linda about booking, they were so kind, even wanting to provide a treat for our dog if he was with us. As soon as we walked in the door, the peace and serenity of the place greeted us, along wth homemade goodies (we ate them all over the weekend). The view of the lake was breathtaking. We rested a lot, and kayaked. I would recommend taking a couple of travel hammocks because napping under the pines hearing the water gently moving was so refreshing. Frank has beautiful woodworking for sel but more than that, both he and Linda was so sweet to talk with. We will definitely be back.

Summary: Cute little 1 room 1 bath cabin for 2 that’s pet friendly and on the lake. Everything is as clean as can be, neat & orderly. The owners are extremely friendly, and go above and beyond to make sure you’re completely happy and comfortable. They’re very helpful and communicative. When we arrived we were met at the driveway by Frank who offered to help carry things in. He goes over everything with you and makes sure you understand before he leaves. We were also greeted with muffins, cookies, and treats for our dogs all made by Linda. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Thanks again for sharing this cabin with us!! We will definitely be back!

Summary: This property is great with water front access and is well maintained. Frank and Linda were great host and very personable! They walk you through the unit and Linda made some awesome treats not only for us but for the dogs as well! We will be regular customers after one stay!

Summary: The cabin was perfect for me and my wife. Even though we brought some things with us. The place had everything we needed. The lake was practically in the backyard from the house and had the perfect place to fish from. The hosts were very helpful and we enjoyed talking with them.
