This magnificant lake house is a cozy 4-season chalet built in 2002 on a quiet bay in beautiful Lac Rheaume, Val Des Monts QC. It is Located 40 minutes from downtown Ottawa. It offers modern amenities in a beautiful setting, and spectacular sunset. Lac Rheaume is a spring fed lake, great for fishing, swimming, kayaking, boating, and excellent cross country skiing and snowshoeing.
Ideal vacation spot for diplomats, business executives, or retired couples spending their winter in warmer climates, or passing tourists visiting Canada.
This chalet features:
200ft Waterfront, large private wooded lot.
It is built on 3 levels can accommodate 8 people comfortably, 3 bedrooms with queen beds and one bedroom with 2 twin beds, 3 bathrooms,
Open Concept kitchen and dining area, living room on the second level with a beautiful wood-burning fireplace, dining room, screened sunroom,
Large wrap-around deck and top floor balcony overlooking the lake, large family room with propane fireplace overlooking the lake on the lower level.
Large windows on all levels to capture maximum light, and different views over the lake makes this harmonious setting and help make your vacation a relaxing stay.
The chalet is fully furnished with high efficiency propane furnace, Central Air Conditioning, air exchanger, and contains 5 appliances, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, satellite TV, 3 flat high definition TVs, DVD and CD players, telephone, Internet, bedding, kitchenware and utensils, 6-8 person Artesian hot tub, and a 20KW Generac standby generator.
Outdoor amenities include a large play structure, garden furniture, lounge chairs, propane barbecue, floating dock with ladder, picnic tables, 4 person paddle boat, and a kayak, water beds and life jackets.
The property is Close to village of Perkins, golf le Sorcier, Edelweiss, Vorlage, and Mont Cascades golf courses and water park, proximity to Nakkertok X-Country Ski Club, Aventure Laflèche cave and aerial park, horseback riding centre and Wakefield Steam Train.
Lawn care and maintenance, firewood and snow removal all included.

A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 14 to 29 days before check-in. Summary: This cottage has everything you could want for a relaxing stsy. We had a wonderful time kayaking, swimming, pedalboating, roasting marshmallows, enjoying the hot tub. The balconies provided a great place to read and enjoy the peace and quiet. We will certainly consider your place for next year!

Summary: The cottage has plenty of space, has a great dock on a lovely lake. My kids enjoyed the play structure, fishing and the wonderful deck off the back of the cottage. Plenty of space indoors for the rainy days and for everyone to have their own sleeping quarters. The owners are very responsive and kindly brought our forgotten toys to a location that was easy for us to retrieve. Highly recommend.

Summary: We stayed at this beautiful home while the smoke from the fires were preventing us from using the outdoor amenities during the first three days. However, the property is beautiful, secluded and well equipped to handle five adults. After the first four days of smoke, we were able to enjoy the outdoors by using the kayaks and enjoying the outdoors at the Val-de-Mont hiking trails. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Summary: The location is beautiful and the house very well appointed with all necessities (although real wine glasses would be a positive addition!). We felt very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the lakeside setting (including a small evening fire on the edge of the frozen lake). It is worth knowing that the road to the chalet is steep and winding, a bit of a challenge to vehicles under some conditions in the winter.

Summary: Our family of 7 stayed in this lovely lake house for 5 days in feb 2022. The house is very clean and spacious. We really enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace (wood supplied). There is plenty of dishware, nothing was lacking. The dining table can sit 8 which suited our family well. The bedrooms are large, lots of towels and the beds comfy. No issues with the internet. We were able to cross country ski and walk on the lake. The road to get to this home is quite hilly, in snowy weather we'd highly recommend you have a 4x4 vehicle. We were really happy with the great communication we had with the host, covid restrictions made it necessary to change dates at short notice and he was very accommodating, and also responded quickly to any questions we had. Thankyou again for allowing us to stay in your home!
