Unwind at this serene lakeside retreat with gorgeous views and plenty of space to relax and reconnect. Start your mornings with coffee on one of two spacious porches overlooking beautiful Lake Wallenpaupack. Located in the welcoming, family-friendly community of Spinnler Point, you’ll have access to charming areaways perfect for picnics, swimming, stargazing, and swinging with the kids.
Spend your days out on the lake—boating, tubing, jet skiing, or simply floating and soaking up the sun. Then head back to your home base for s’mores around the firepit, a chilled bottle from the wine fridge, and sunset views from the porch. On cooler evenings, cozy up by the indoor fireplace for movie night or a good book.
Take a peaceful walk or bike ride around the wooded neighborhood paths and shoreline, and enjoy a truly relaxing escape that’s perfect for families, friends, or couples. Proudly family-owned and managed—we hope you feel right at home.
You’ll enter on the house on the main floor where you’ll find a half bath, coat closet with books and board games, a gas fireplace, wine fridge, large living room with LED TV and Roku, and a dining table that seats 10 (with insert). There is a fully stocked kitchen with a large farm sink, large variety of cooking and baking supplies and many spices, salt and pepper, and oils. The main floor exits onto a large porch to enjoy the afternoon sun with views of the lake and beautiful fall foliage, and a screened in porch just in case it rains. There is a fire pit outside with Adirondack chairs to enjoy s’mores and good company or curl up to the indoor fireplace on a cool fall evening.
Upstairs you’ll find 3 full bedrooms and a bathroom w/ dual shower and dual sinks. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan and dressers and closets available for clothing. The 2 guest bedrooms have double beds and black out shades. The primary bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a porch to enjoy lake views and take in the gorgeous foliage, while you sip coffee from the in-room Keurig coffee maker. The primary bedroom has air conditioning that will cool the whole upstairs in less than 30 mins. There is also a pack n play available for use.
Downstairs you’ll find a large open space for playing and hanging out. There are 2 bunk beds, a full bath including bathtub, a washer/dryer, blackout curtains for prime sleeping, kids toys and a large comfy couch and TV to let kids lounge on their own or host a movie night.
And a boat slip available upon request!
You’re 10 mins from breweries, restaurants, pizza places, coffee & ice cream shops, downtown Hawley, indoor or outdoor mini golf, and hiking Shuman's Point trail. 20 mins from Woodloch Resort & Spa, downtown Honesdale, and apple orchards and pumpkin patches for fall-time fun. We are very nearby boat, paddle board, kayak and jetski rentals, and we have a paddleboard and kayaks available for guests who sign our waiver. Boat slip available upon request.

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay there. It took us a little to learn the lay of the land but once we did it was a true joy. It is truly a super short walk to the areaway where the dock is and we spent a lot of time there soaking up the sun, fishing, and swimming. The house itself is immaculate and super visitor friendly. We had a small weather hiccup which no one could control and the owner even offered us a late check out as a courtesy. The owner was always available and very helpful. We would love to rent from them again. My whole family enjoyed their stay! Thanks!

Summary: My family and I recently stayed her and enjoyed every minute. The house is located steps away from the lake, which made it so easy for my children and I to access. The kids were able to enjoy both swimming in the shallow water and jumping off the docks into the deeper waters. It is so close to the lake that we were able to easily take our kayak out on. The owner of the house really thought about everything necessary to make it a cozy and convenient stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you would need to prepare meals. We enjoyed many meals on the deck in the evening while watching the sunset set over the lake. My kiddos loved sleeping on the bunk beds in the basement! There were toys that kept them busy at night and a TV for them to wind down with. The rooms upstairs were very comfortable. The primary had a wonderful deck to enjoy morning coffee on. Overall, we had an amazing stay! You really could show up with nothing and have everything you need there. The house was extremely clean upon arrival. The owners seemed very kind and were responsive to any questions we had.

Summary: Everything about our stay was great. The beds, sofa and chairs were comfortable. The view of the lake from the upper and lower decks made for a very enjoyable and relaxing week. The towels were soft, plenty of spices were available and although our grandchildren couldn’t join us they would have loved all the toys. The hosts chose the amenities with care. I would definitely stay here again.

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay and particularly liked the community. It had four areaways or parks where there were chairs and benches to sit by the water. The house had comfortable beds, nice linens and great towels. The kitchen was well-stocked and I did not need to bring spices, oil, etc. There is a nice view of the water from the deck. Owners are super responsive. Overall, a very positive experience.
