Summary: Anything but Country Paradise. We could understand and deal with house being under remodeling/deck upgrades, yard being mowed prior to arrival but....host should have informed us of numerous issues with dogs next door. Expected to have a relaxing time staying but due to dogs constantly barking, not much sleep at night was experienced. We managed to make the best of it but constant dog barking definitely hard to overcome. Won't be staying or recommending this place to anyone,

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay and especially building fires in the cold weather! The manager was extremely kind and easy to work with during our stay. It is a bit of a drive out, so be ready for some country roads. This is not the property owners fault, but just for transparency there are lots of loose dogs (over 10) on nearby properties to be mindful of on your stay. Some are car chasers and stay out in the road.

Summary: We were very comfortable in the house it was clean and very well stocked. The boys stayed in the garage apartment it was a little warm thank goodness for cooler weather, not sure it would have been comfortable in the heat of summer. The rest of the house was great. Plenty of space and bedding. Neighbor dogs were kind of a nuisance, friendly but still running around. We had a lovely time.
