Set on the shoreline of beautiful Lake St. George, this chalet rests in a quiet, private setting that simply brings happiness and a sense of calm. Enjoy one of Maine's clearest lakes from the comfort of this amazing home! Or, walk across the grassy lawn to the lake to start your day w/coffee on the dock while watching the sunrise. Go for a swim or a paddle. Take the provided canoe for a tour of the lake, a fishing outing or a sunset cruise. Keep your eyes peeled for bald eagles and loons! At night enjoy gazing at the stars. The main level of the house is an open concept with a massive stone chimney that soars to the top of the living room’s vaulted ceiling. The “wall of glass” that faces the lake allows for amazing light while the two ceiling fans keep the air moving. This level has the fully equipped kitchen, living room with large smart TV, dining area, craft/game table area, the bedroom with queen bed, one full bathroom and laundry machines. The wrap-around deck has chairs, table and a gas grill. The upper level is a loft that has the master bedroom with king bed, smart TV and the other full bathroom. The lower level has the room with bunk beds (twin and full mattress), love seat and four tall windows that provide for a great view of the lake. Heat/cooling pumps on main floor and lower level keep the house comfortable in cold and hot weather. The home is modernized with free WiFi, two new 4K smart TV’s and roku devices to enable you to login to your streaming subscriptions. For your safety and security, we have an electronic keypad for entry and front door camera. If you desire to explore more of Maine, we are a relatively short drive to some GREAT coastal towns: 16 miles to Belfast, 20 miles to Camden/Rockport, 73 to Acadia National Park & 79 miles to Portland. PLEASE NOTE: there are roughly 20 gradual steps to get from the parking area down to the house. From the house to the lake there are stairs down from the deck and then a very gradual walk across the lawn to the lake.

Summary: The house and property is picturesque and well maintained. The host was responsive to our needs. St George lake is super clean and peaceful. This is the perfect place to find your zen with family and friends. We will be back.

Summary: Linda and John were spectacular! And the camp was well stocked with the essentials. The property was very private despite the close neighbors. This was the perfect lake get-away!! The waterfront faces east, so perfect for early morning coffee on the dock, listening to the loons and watching lake life come awake. The basement is perfect for overflow and younger visitors, the loft bedroom is handsome with built-in closets and spectacular views of the lake. Anything we needed, we just messaged or called. All requests were immediately responded to. The camp is full of natural light and the light fixtures nicely light up the darkness, at night. The local quintessential Maine sights of Belfast, Rockland and Camden are close enough to visit in a day trip. Lake St. George is like swimming in liquid silk, so clean and well stocked with fish. We can't wait to come back!!

Summary: We absolutely loved Linda's property on Lake St. George. The location was perfect - quiet, right on the lake, and family friendly. Linda was very responsive and accommodating. The house was very clean and well equipped - we cooked every night and used the canoe every day. Hope to return for another family vacation.

Summary: This was the first Fall trip for my husband and me. The chalet was as lovely as the photos indicated and the views of the lake were amazing. Access to the lake is great, the available canoe and life jackets would have been great if we didn't have our kayaks with us. I have to note the king bed upstairs was by far the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on in a rental The location is peaceful and private. I would caution folks who have mobility issues or can't carry things far as there are steps from the driveway to the chalet and steps to the lake and inside Enjoyed our stay and would love to return with family

Summary: This house was LOVELY! All of those glass windows facing the lake - a peaceful, beautiful feature of this house! It was clean, very well equipped, and the dock was ideal for us to use/dock our boat! We enjoyed wakeboarding and waterskiing ALL DAY LONG on this gorgeous clean lake! The loons were such an added treat! Would HIGHLY recommend this place!
