Summary: The listing doesn’t do this place justice. The view of the lake was incredible. This peaceful property was the perfect place to celebrate my winter birthday with friends. We used it as a home base to explore local wineries and lunch in Lanbertville/New Hope but we would have also been content spending the day in the spacious house sipping tea and looking at the lake. The rooms are large and luxurious but also cozy. We had plenty of space to spread out and also gather all together. It is decorated nicely with subtly very Bucks County decor. Things to be aware of: beds are full not queens and there is a steap internal spiral staircase going up the steps. We managed to carry our carry on suitcases but some may choose to use the exterior staircase. You can see other houses but still felt like we had lots of privacy. Host was very responsive and helpful. We’d stay here again in a heartbreak. It’s 2 miles from Bishops Estate winery and has a lavander farm right next door. We walked around the lake too which was so close.

Summary: Owners did a great job with the renovation. Very spacious. Very large, well appointed dining, and living rooms, a most excellent master suite. Easy communication and quick response from the owners. As a lover of nature, the location could not have been better.

Summary: Amazing house. Everything was perfect. The hot tub is not actually at the house. We had to walk across a small bit of grass , it’s basically on the patio of the smaller house on the property. We happily used it anyway :)

Summary: What a beautiful and special property! If you are looking for a relaxing and restorative break from it all, this is it. The farmhouse is incredibly cozy and spacious. From the house, you have wonderful views of the water, which also boasts very nice walking trails along the water and in the wooded area. So you merely need to cross the street to feel like you've been on a wonderful and beautiful hike! No driving necessary. The many fireplaces throughout are incredibly cozy and the bar room is super fun for all to enjoy! All bedrooms are incredibly comfortable and spacious. Of special note, even the mattresses for the twin beds in the smaller room, are ridiculously comfortable. There are very nice outdoor spaces in terms of a balcony/patio off of the master bedroom, and the outside patio with the fire pit. The outdoor hot tub is absolutely divine, though if you're looking for complete privacy, it is worth noting that the hot tub is directly connected to the the adjoining property which includes another house/guest house. But it was fully accessible from the farmhouse (just a few short steps to paradise!!), no one else used it during our stay and we never saw anyone else on the property whatsoever, so it felt very private. We have stayed at many properties, and this one really ticks all the boxes in terms of luxury, amenities and cozy comfort. We left already making plans for when we can return. Enjoy!!

Summary: Pretty cool old house with a nice view of the lake. Rural location, but not far from Chalfont train station allowing for a car-free trip into Center City Philly. Loved the skylights over the master bed so could see the moon while in bed. Only issues where that the locations of the switches for the lights were confusing to figure out, and the steep semicircular stairs to the bedrooms. I realize the stairs are probably part of the original house layout, and while they were not an issue for us, they could be for someone with mobility issues. Also not sure what the point is to have a huge unstocked wine cellar in a rental property.
