Those Views! From the comfort and privacy of your own deck, you can relax and enjoy the lake view and still have easy walking distance access to all that downtown McCall has to offer! I grew up in McCall Idaho, and now reside in nearby Boise. I am so happy to have created a mountain resort style space that offers all of the comforts of home, but with a spectacular view and unparalleled access. My family and I love recreating here and look forward to the opportunity of sharing our space, and experiences with you! This is not your average vacation rental...I am of the firm belief that when vacationing, one should not have to sacrifice on quality or quantities of the surroundings or amenities. Featuring Aveda bath and body products as well as high end linens, and Pottery Barn furnishings, this home is complete and ready to become your home away from home too! This is a mostly organic home, with full sized laundry soap, dish soap, tea, coffee, honey, olive oil, and everything else that you often find "lacking" in vacation rentals. Crock pot (check!), Sharp Japanese knives (check!), cutting boards (check!), dinner service for 8 (check!), Cast Iron enameled dutch oven (Check!), Pack and play (Check!), High chair, stroller, toddler dinnerware, and so much more! Professionally designed, well executed, and extreme attention to detail await your visit to our McCall home. The home is on the 3rd floor… sorry, no elevator. We do have A/C! Summary: This cozy, third-floor, two-bedroom apartment is a short walk from town and has partial views of Payette Lake. Parking is available in front of the garage or in the lot. The building is multi-unit with lovely active neighbors. The kitchen has several pots and pans and utensils, a french press and drip coffee machine plus a supply of coffee beans and grinder, enough place settings for 6 people, and a large capacity washer and dryer. The bathrooms could use an update, but were functional. The master bed is comfortable, and the living room is great for family gatherings, reading, or watching a show on the large screen TV.

Summary: This was our second visit to this condo for a week of skiing, and we’d stay here again. Warm and comfortable, great master bedroom and nice lake views. Very convenient to downtown. Snow removal was prompt every morning - it snowed almost every day during our visit. Kitchen is quite functional - we cooked all breakfasts, most lunches and a couple of dinners during our stay. Hosts are super responsive and quickly took care of a couple minor issues related to the entire property (not the individual unit). We tend to pack a lot of stuff for many activities, so the stairs to the 3rd floor were a bit of work.

Summary: The best thing about Lakeview Mountain Retreat is the location walking distance to "downtown" McCall and a quick drive to Ponderosa State Park. The condo unit is cozy and the kitchen well appointed. Our family had a nce stay.
