Summary: The property was lovely, cosy and had absolutely spectacular views from the balcony and terrace across the countryside. There were two good bedrooms comfortably accommodating the four of us and a bathroom with a good powerful shower which is always a bonus in hot weather. You will definitely need a car for this location as the local village has no shop or other real amenities but its very rural location ensures you are surrounded by stunning countryside. It is only about 30 minutes to Heidelberg and about 90 minutes from Frankfurt airport and all in all a great place to stay.

Summary: Lovely holiday home. 100% would return. Space outside as well. Hosts were great, helped with flat battery on car. Do need a car for access / shopping. Don’t need to bring anything with you as all is there or will be provided. Laundry service for a few euros if you need. Excellent base for Heidelberg and surrounding area while being in a rural and quiet setting.

Summary: We had a lovely stay at Ferienhof Rothenburg house. The house and surrounding country side is absolutely bucolic. Mike, Annette and Lars were very friendly and helpful with our inquiries regarding the area. We loved watching the goats, geese and cows! Hiking and biking abounds right from the house. The house has everything you need for a nice stay. It is clean, comfortable and very well maintained. We were sad when we left as we had such a nice stay. Hopefully we will be back again!

Summary: We loved our stay. My husband and two grown children had a wonderful 12 days--really loved the quality of the apartment (high wood ceilings, beautiful bathroom, wonderful views, well-appointed kitchen), and the beautiful views of the rolling hills. Of course, we loved seeing the goats and geese (all quiet!) as part of the "bauernhof" setting! Hosts were very nice and even brought beautiful, homemade German classic Christmas cookies which made our stay feel very home-like.
