Summary: Clean and comfortable and the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was great! The best part is the walking trail to Burg Eltz! Just over a mile through a beautiful forest.

Summary: Location: the best place to stay if you want to visit Burg Eltz: it is a nice 30-40 minutes walk. The staff is very German. Make sure to arrive before 9pm -- they close the reception and don't answer the phone.

Summary: This hotel is definitely off the beaten path. Hotel room showed its age, but was clean. Restaurant for dinner and breakfast were very good. Great hiking to Burg Eltz directly from the hotel.
