Positive: Close to beach. Very quiet street. Clean house. Has all amenities.

Negative: The only thing I didn’t like was the TV wasn’t SMART. So if you planning to travel with kids make sure you bring your laptop. Other than that i would give 5 stars to the property.

Positive: That it was located close to beach. The design of property was nice. My husband enjoyed the big mugs.

Negative: The main bedroom bed was very uncomfortable it was too soft and we both got sore backs as a result. Maybe they need to get a proper queen or king instead of two singles pushed together. The couch wasn’t very supportive either and the tv was outdated we couldn’t login to any streaming services. The curtains look good but do nothing to provide blockout for light at night and privacy. The instructions to find key box were unclear it told us to go to back of front property near decking which is not where keybox is. Very frustrating when we arrived in semi dark in rain after 8 hour drive with our toddler and just wanted to go outside and settle in and could not locate. My husband called property organizers and even they weren’t much help either as they had the same instructions. For the money we spent we were expected more.

Positive: Fantastic location and very quite. Loved that our hire car was off the street in its own space within the property.

Negative: Walking through another property to access the keys. Late at night this would be interesting.

Summary: Loved our stay at the Laneway Retreat.

Positive: Great location. Short walk to the beach

Negative: The washing machine/ dryer door opened half way through the wash and leaked all through the house which I then had to clean. I only had the bathroom towels to clean this. There were no extra towels so I had to wash those and stay around to hold the door when it popped open
