Negative: the wooden edges of bed base frame is sharp angles & sticking out of mattress borders , I stombed my toes 2 or 3 times passing around bed , very painful

Positive: Our experience was excellent. The host was incredibly kind and attentive from the very beginning. The house is so nice, very clean and well cared for, with beautiful details and a history that makes it special. We also appreciated all the local information he shared with us — it helped us make the most of the area. It’s ideal if you’re traveling by car, as it’s very close to Óbidos. We would definitely come back.

Positive: João is a wonderfully welcoming host. Situated in a quiet quaint village, it's the ideal place to relax. Clearly a lot of time and work has gone into making the guesthouse feel so warm and inviting. This is a place with real character and full of cute little touches throughout. Flawlessly clean and tidy too. We hope to come back for a longer stay soon.

Positive: Absolutely beautiful! Very cosy and the hosts are lovely people, super welcoming. They gave us also a lot of tips on what to do, which was great. It is very close to Obidos but also to the beach locations. The rooms are super nice and clean, and the common areas too. Lovely patio, very peaceful.

Positive: Our room and the entire house are so beautifully decorated. We loved all the unique antiques. Everything was SO clean! Our balcony room was quite spacious with two levels. We also appreciated the use of the common kitchen and living room as well as the outdoor/pool courtyard. This is a fantastic place to stay a short drive from charming Obidos.Highly recommend!!

Positive: It was outstanding. Joao and his wife have. Created amazing space. Atmosphere, creative use of wood. It was like being in an art gallery only relaxing, and I would love to live there. The host was most welcoming and helpful! It has been my favorite place in Portugal to stay, and I would love to do it again sometime. Thank you Joao
