There are spectacular uninterrupted views of Pauanui beach, Tairua harbour and township from this large three storey house.
The property joins the coastal reserve - 5 minute walk to harbour beach and ferry (to Pauanui), 10 minute walk to surf beach, 1 minute drive to all Tairua beaches and Tairua town where there are cafes, restaurants, shops, tennis courts, golf course, charter fishing and diving.
The living room is huge with a beautiful open fireplace for winter, and fantastic 180° views. Relax outdoors on the hammock, beanbags and loungers.
All 5 bedrooms are spacious.
There are 2 bathrooms (1 with shower over) and a separate shower room, 2 separate toilets, so the facilities easily cope with a large group.
There are 3 decks. BBQ and outdoor dining.
Large driveway providing off-street parking for 3-4 vehicles.
Sailing dinghy and bicycles (bring your helmets).
Tairua offers surfing, fishing and diving (charters), water skiing, kayaking and sailboarding (for rent), sailing, land yachting, golf, tennis, walking tracks, cafes/restaurants/bars, shopping, playgrounds, safe harbour beaches as well as a surf beach, New Year fireworks display, easy access to other Coromandel beaches and attractions.

Summary: What a fantastic holiday we had staying here - breath taking views of the estuary and Pauanui. Quick walk to the estuary, beach and near by cafes. Accommodation was great with comfy beds. Large open plan living, kitchen area was perfect for all of us - great for charades! Would definitely stay here again

Summary: We had an extended family filling the house , we were all very comfortable and blown away by the view of Pauanui and the channel .would recommend this place to everybody!

Summary: Eminently suitable for families or larger groups, this versatile property stand in a commanding position high up Paku Summit with magnificent views no matter whatever the weather. Local restaurants are good especially the recently opened Tairua Beach Club, and daily needs are all met by facilities in Tairua.

Summary: Incredible view! We could have stared out the window at the ever-changing view for hours! Great property to accomodate the large group of family members and friends we had visiting from overseas! Would definitely book this place again.

Summary: The view was the most outstanding feature. Good large living area suited our crowd of 13. Good selection of house and beach toys. The house is well-used and a little worn but functional. Had a great 5 night stay.

Summary: We are a large family group ranging from grand parents to young children. Over the past years we have rented in Golden Bay, Te Ngaere, Nunguru, and Oakura. All fabulous seaside holiday homes. The consensus of our group was that this property in Tairua was the best. It has fabulous constant changing views, handy to a sheltered beach for the small children, handy to a surf beach for the big boys, handy to a couple of cafes, and a hill to climb for the energetic. What more could one want.

Summary: This is a great place with spectacular views and really well set out for a large group. There are plenty of games to keep kids, parents and grandparents occupied when it's raining. When it's dry there are lots of tracks around - if you can drag yourself off the deck or out of the hammock!
