Summary: We rented this house for two weeks. There was more than enough room for all 12 of us (plus 2 babies). We rent a house for our whole family every year, and we never had a house that was better organized, with so much eye for detail. Binders full of materials about things to do in the area and beyond, plus books about the whole of the country of the Netherlands were available. The house is very kid-friendly, with highchairs and cribs, as well as little gates on the top and base of the stairs for safety. The yard is fully enclosed, with lots of toys. Several bikes are present as well. All this in good shape and in working order. There are carts you can load up with chairs and anything else you may want to take to the beach (which is not crowded). The beach is at the end of the street, just a short walk from the house. The main shopping street of the cozy village is just as close. Here you can find many restaurants and a variety of shops, including a supermarket and a bakery, where we bought fresh bread every morning (as well as regularly some of those great Dutch pastries). Last, but not least, the owners are very pleasant and eager to assist you, wherever they can. (We live in the United States and wanted to show our offspring something about living in the Netherlands. Now they all wonder, how on earth could you have ever left there.)
