The main floor features a large kitchen with a table that seats 8, a dining room that seats 6 more. A family (TV) Room, living room with a gas fireplace and a large deck with some great views. Also a half bath and laundry room.
Upstairs there are Five bedrooms, two rooms have two beds and three more additional rooms with beds!
Basement is the best part, high 9 1/2 foot ceilings, features a bar, pool table, air hockey, foosball, sauna, workout room and a wood burning fireplace. Also glass sliding doors onto a back porch done with pavers.
Wide driveway will accommodate three vehicles.

Summary: WhenI looked up the place it showed a sauna and a hot tub two shower baths fire place and the pictures of the place were deserving all the trim around the doors had chips or chunks out of them every time we turned the a/c on it blew a circuit breaker and hot tub was empty not usable. The two south bedrooms didn’t have a/c and the east bedroom a/c didn’t work. The owner text me a hour befor say do to a water leak we could only use the one shower in the master bed room with a big group that sucked. The basement smelt mildewy where the game room was. The place use to be awesome but is lacking upkeep and upgrades . In my mind I over paid I could have rented an almost new place for a few hundred more. We had a good trip outside the house but not so much in the hous I’m a little unhappy

Summary: Overall the house was decent. Very spacious and sprawling. There was no possible way we would have been able to fit sled trailers there, although told we could, 3 trucks didn’t even fit comfortably. Cleanliness could have been better. Bathrooms were “old dirt” dirty. Kitchen was pretty bad especially the fridge/ freezer. Biggest disappointment was no functioning hot tub. It had been broken over a year but still listed as an amenity. That said, we would possibly stay again- but not if planning a snowmobile trip, which was our plan until no snow showed up!

Summary: We had 19 family members up for the December graduation at MTU. The size of this home was all we could have hoped for. Parking made for a lot of shuffling of vehicles, but we knew that going in, so it was workable. The amount of kitchen equipment and tableware was absolutely astounding!!

Summary: Very spacious home for large family gathering. Well stocked kitchen allowed us all to enjoy holiday meals together. Bedroom were spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed our time very much!

Summary: Family from near and far convened at this house for a few days to share meals and reconnect. The three large common areas and two dining tables made conversation and sharing meals easy. The downstairs pool table and games were a hit as well! Quiet neighborhood and plenty of parking made the spot ideal. Thanks!

Summary: This house continues to be an excellent place to stay with proximity to Houghton/Hancock and the Keewenaw. While the house is starting to show signs of maintenance needed, the space is amazing for our very large group that spans three generations and the host is very responsive and friendly. We will keep coming back!
