Large apartment overlooking the river, located in the historic area of Lisbon, 100 m from the river, with public transport and all kinds of shops nearby.
The space is located on the 5th floor of a building with elevator, has an independent bedroom, and a second bedroom created in the living room, through a cylindrical structure, which introduces the necessary privacy to the occupants.
Each room has 2 single beds that can be connected and converted into a double bed.
In the living room the sofa bed allows sleeping for two more people.
The apartment is on the top floor, and although the roof is properly insulated thermally, it was equipped with two units air conditioners. The windows allow for intense brightness during the day, but have double glazing, so they allow a pleasant ambience inside.
At night in the bedroom windows, blackouts allow darken the space, for travelers who like to sleep in the dark.
The apartment has a simple and practical decoration for travelers and has a complete bathroom with shower and a separate toilet.
Sheets and towels are provided, as well as a hairdryer.
Guests will have access to free wi-fi and cable TV, as well as soap and cleaning products.
The kitchen is equipped with stove, electric oven, fridge, washing machine/dryer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and all the equipment necessary.
The apartment does not have balconies or terraces. However, the public garden is located next to the Tagus River, a 1-minute walk away, and has a walkway along the bank between Praça do Comércio and the restaurants next to the river, at Cais do Sodré.

Summary: Pedro and Vera were really helpful and communicated well. Check in was smooth. The apartment was clean and consistent with the listing. It is a large apartment but a strange layout with the 2nd bedroom pod dividing the kitchen and the 2 bathrooms beside each other in the corner. The location was ok but there was a lot of noise every night all night. Overall a decent place though and great hosts.

Summary: Bright open space for a long weekend stay in Lisbon. Close to everything, easy access to all areas and shopping, buses, trains, you name it. Clean and comfortable with amazing hosts. Vera checked in a few times to make sure we were enjoying our stay and to answer any questions. She reviewed a map and greeted us with pastries, a wonderful welcome! Highly recommend this apartment stay.

Summary: A well positioned flat. Relatively central. While flat had aircon, there is none in the bedroom which could be a problem in summer. There is NO outdoor area as listed. No coffee making options except drip filter , which is being picky I know, but a plunger or Nespresso or the like would have been appreciated.

Summary: The appartement was spacious and clean. Good beds and good airco and bathroom/wc. Room with a view at the river is true, but cannot be called a highlight, for it is not worth mentioning. In the weekends the street can be very noisy late in the evening so some flexibility is required. But again overall we had a great time, contact with the owner very helpfull

Summary: Pedro and Vera are absolutely excellent hosts. They were communicative and responsive throughout our rental process. Vera greeted us as we arrived with warm Portuguese pastries! They went out of their way to ensure we had directions to attractions, transportation modes and grocery stores. The apartment was very clean and although we were in a busy area, the place was quite. The a/c worked very well! It was great to have a washer and dryer (that has a much smaller capacity than most American washers and driers, but that got the job done!). The apartment was within minutes of walking to two grocery shops, metro and train stations. We are training for a marathon and were able to run along the Tagus nearly every morning. I felt very safe throughout the day, but would not want to wander the neighborhood at night. We were within easy walking distance to major shopping areas and very close to dozens of restaurants.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at Pedro and Vera's apt. It's conveniently located near an important transit hub, very easy to access by all modes of transportation, and had plenty of food options nearby. The apt itself is well kept and had everything we needed to be successful tourists who are living temporarily in Lisbon. Our kids really enjoyed staying in the cylinder shaped "room," and thought it added a fun element to the apartment. The noise from Pink Street was faint, and if you travel with a white noise machine, you won't hear anything at all. As hosts, Pedro and Vera had excellent communication before and during our trip, making the overall stay simple and stress-free. Highly recommend!
