Alfie's Place has an open floor plan with a fireplace, big screen tv, internet, Wi Fi, washer and dryer upstairs, fish cleaning area and picnic tables. It's perfect for a family and is pet friendly for up to two pets at 70-80 pounds or less. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, small appliances and dish ware. There is a shower downstairs for washing off the sand and salty water. One bedroom is queen size and the other has two twin beds. There is a futon and queen size soft sleeper in the living room.
You'll love our spacious screened in porch and also a screened in fish cleaning station! Plenty of parking in the front yard for cars and boats!
The county-owned beach access & state-owned beach is about 150 yards directly south of Alfie's Place.
Alfie's Place has been in the family since it was built. We love our family beach home and as residents of nearby Apalachicola, we are nearby to take good care of our home & our guests.

5 night minimum stay requirement
If you bring your dog, there is a pet fee of $75 which covers a maximum of 2 dogs at no more than 70-80 pounds each. We ask that they'd be well behaved & trained, current on flea/tick meds, non-scratchers on doors/windows/furniture, to keep them off the furniture & beds, and that you'd pick up after them in the yard, beach, and island. Due to the fact that your pet is not familiar with his/her surroundings at the house, please bring a kennel in case you plan to leave him/her alone.
*We cater to family groups and cannot accept reservations for vacationing students or house parties. We do not rent to students or to groups under 25, even if one or more parents or legally responsible adults accompany them.
No group gatherings beyond the maximum occupancy allowed, even for a day event.
In the event of your need to cancel, we provide a full refund 60 days or more prior to arrival. There is no refund for cancelling within 60 days. For cancelling within 60 days, trip cancellation insurance is highly recommended because you never know what unexpected, covered event can occur.
Up to a $300 damage option will be automatically charged to your credit card within 14 days of check out if any damage occurs.

Summary: We spent two weeks at Alfie’s Place. The house was great. It had everything we needed and more. Loved the nice big screened in porch. Even though it was the end of November it was still warm enough to set out and enjoy the evenings. I could not have asked for a better location. We just loved it.

Summary: We arrived at the rental after driving all day and walked in and it had not been cleaned from previous renters. Contacted property manager and he was very apologetic, and sent someone with in the hour. She made the beds and washed the towels, and did some cleaning she was there till after nine, and we just stayed out on the screened porch and waited till she was finished, but the house still never felt really clean during our stay. It wasn’t her fault she was not the original cleaner. We did love the screened porch, and the proximity to the beach was nice and we love this neighborhood. There are several things that need to be updated in the house to make it more comfortable. We did end up leaving early and came home.

Summary: If you are looking for a cozy place within walking distance to a quiet beach, this is your house! Alfie’s Place had everything we needed! The patio was fabulous for early morning breakfast, but the screened in porch was such a game changer at night! It kept all of the mosquitoes out while the ceiling fans kept it from getting too humid.This beautiful neighborhood was full of friendly people and it was so peaceful! The walk to the beach took just a few minutes and while it was a family and dog friendly beach, there were never more than a handful of families on the beach at once. The streets and beach were absent of street lights, so the starry skies were unbelievable. Due to the possibility of Hurricane Idalia changing plans, I reached out to Glenn numerous times before our trip and he always responded quickly and I am very grateful for that. We cannot thank Al and Serena enough for opening up their home to us! Indian Pass is a gem and we cannot wait to visit again next year!

Summary: This place absolutely perfect to be at with the littles!! Short walk to the beach every morning/ afternoon/ night. Locals were amazing, and the food surrounding Indian Pass, San Blas, and Port St. Joe was to die for!! Indian Pass Raw Bar was our favorite and never disappointed with its food and live music!!

Summary: Everything was perfect for our family. Nice porches, comfortable beds, plenty of utensils and dishes. While you can't see the beach from the house, you can hear the water and it is still just a short walk. We rented a golf cart this year, so with that we were from the house to the water within a couple minutes, tops. There was a large selection of channels on the TVs. The shower in the master bedroom was very large and had a nice showerhead. Everything worked as it should except the toaster. Lots of palm trees. Loved the outdoor shower to rinse sand. There was really nothing we didn’t like. To top it off, the weather was absolutely perfect. It was just what the doctor ordered. We definitely hope to stay here again.

Summary: The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how clean and neat the place was! The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and you could hear the birds chirping all the time. It's a short walk to the beach with beach access at the end of the road. We really enjoyed the screened in porch, we used it everyday we were there. The place has everything you need, you really only have to bring your personal belongings. This was our second time at Indian Pass and I just love it there. The beaches are uncrowded and peaceful and they have great shells, plus I love that it's dog friendly so our dog can tag along. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.
