A modern penthouse set in an absolutely perfect location, with the Mediterranean to one side, and Gozo’s typical green fields and rolling hills on the other, yet a stone's throw from Gozo's liveliest seaside area. The terrace, open plan and main bedroom all enjoy unobstructed breathtaking country views. There's a wood burning stove in the open plan making this an ideal quiet Winter hideaway. The apartment and area are beautiful throughout the year.
The apartment is bright, spacious and airy. Furnished with a mix of modern and vintage pieces, the decor is stylish, yet practical and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped with the necessary appliances, plus the cookware and tableware you'll need throughout your stay. The wood burning stove will keep you warm in the colder winter evenings.
The main bedroom has an ensuite wc/shower room and has a patio door leading out onto the terrace. The large 40m2 terrace enjoys unobstructed, breathtaking countryside views, and is equipped with barbecue, dining, lounging and sunbathing areas.
The large open plan is equipped with AC on a pay per use basis, although we do cover the first 3/4 hours of daily use. We do this to discourage guests leaving the AC on day and night and whether in or out of the apartment.
As from 1st June, 2016, the Government of Malta introduced an Environmental Contribution of €0.50c per person per night up to a maximum of €5 per person per stay.
This contribution is payable by all tourists who are 18 years or older on their day of arrival in Malta.
This contribution is to be charged separately from the booking fee, and will be collected upon check-in.
Guests of all ages are kindly requested to provide a copy of an identification document as we will be obliged to keep the records on file.

The area
Set in the area known as 'the haven of the hillocks', after the unique nearby hillocks or 'Qollas' as they are known locally, the location could not be any better. The area is as peaceful as it can get, yet anything you need is right there at a stone's throw. Beaches, pubs, restaurants, supermarkets, diving centres, banks and so on. The historical salt pans and the statue of Christ the Saviour, our modest, yet charming replica of Rio's famous landmark, set atop a nearby hillock, are amongst the nearby attractions well worth a visit.
Other places to visit: Victoria market and narrow winding streets, Cittadella (fortified hilltop citadel), Ggantija neolithic temples (older than the Egyptian pyramids), Dwejra bay, Azure window, Ramla bay, and many, many more.
Getting around
You will find everything you'll need within close walking distance and you're unikely to miss having a car during your stay; however, should you decide to rent one, there's ample free parking just outside the apartment. Public transport in Gozo is cheap, efficient and easy, with a bus stop nearby. The apartment is 3km from Gozo's capital Victoria and the hilltop citadel, both worth a visit during your stay. A hop-on, hop-off service is also available nearby.

Summary: Very nice apartment with some beautiful mid century furniture Has all the things you need to enjoy a stay in Gozo Great communication with the owner. Lovely large terrace which is very private It was however not the quiet stay we hoped for with constant dog barking, cockerels crowing and construction work next door but the owner can do nothing about that sadly

Summary: The apartment is fabulous. We were met at the airport by Clare who gave very clear instructions on how to gain access to the property and a booklet that had useful maps. The decor of the accommodation is great and we felt very comfortable there. It is spotlessly clean. The location is good and the views from the balcony are tremendous. We had a lovely holiday. Thank you. We would highly recommend this apartment.

Summary: Very spacious apartment, very clean. We didn't hire a car, Otter's restaurant was 5 minutes walk away, other restaurants in Malsaform about 10 minutes walk, as was the food shops. Bus stop just outside takes you to Victoria. There was a new A/C unit installed in the lounge, which worked well. There was a fan in the main bedroom, would be nice to have an A/C unit in there as well. The best restaurant we ate at was Otters, Saturday night probably best to book. This was our first time to Gozo, we came for the diving. We used Bubbles dive centre, very professional. They even arranged our taxi back to Luqua airport for 55 Euros, pick up from our apartment, drop us off at the ferry and another taxi then took us to the airport.

Summary: We had a lovely stay in this apartment. It's on the 5th floor (there are lifts!) of a modern apartment block with lovely views of countryside. The apartment block was very quiet and we felt quite private. It was clean, spacious and well equipped and we particularly enjoyed the huge terrace There are loads of places just outside the block, and in both directions for swimming in, which we loved. Marsalforn has everything you need, including several supermarkets and restaurants, all within walking distance of the apartment. There are also bus stops nearby and a wonderful pizza kiosk just outside where we ate several times-it's very reasonably priced for such good pizza! The only thing I would suggest as an improvement would be a better fridge and freezer-the fridge did struggle to keep things cold, and a separate freezer would be very helpful. Claire is very friendly and helpful too-many thanks!

Summary: Lovely place to stay ,bread milk ,biscuits and water was provided when we arrived .Met by our hosts and given the keys . Apartment was clean and had everything you needed for self catering if you so wish .It was obviously decorated with love and care, and was a beautiful home . We spent many hours on the large private balcony looking at the lovely countryside . parking outside usually no problem . short walk into the shops and restaurants . It is a quiet area so not disturbed by noisy music . Only small complaint we could have done with air conditioning although there are fans in evey room we were still too hot at night . Gozo is so lovely and we will definetly return !
