A wonderful Country house awaits you, fully renovated with the modern comforts of home. The house is six kilometers from Anghiari, 5 km from Citerna which was voted one of the 10 most beautiful hilltop towns in Italy, Cortona, Arezzo a few kilometres . The house was recently fully restored using original materials, including ancient terracotta floors and reclaimed, hand-hewn chestnut beams, as well as custom-made authentic touches, including exquisite custom woodworking and hand made windows and cabinetry.
The property is air conditioned and each guest can decide the desired temperature
The 2900 square foot home is comprised of seven bedrooms, each with an en suite bath, dedicated kitchen, large dining room, and expansive living room adjacent to covered patio
The fully equipped, eat-in, kitchen (seats 10) features everything a chef could want. All appliances are new, including: gas range, oven, dishwasher, and refrigerator machine coffee, toaster . An adjacent full dining room (seats fourteen ) with armchairs and TV, feature garden views.
The master suite has one windows with sweeping valley views and excellent terrace .
One of the seven rooms, have private entrance to the outside .
The additional five bedrooms, they all have large windows with curtains and shutters on the windows and look out over the valley or hills.
The living room on the fest floor (which is surrounded by the three bedrooms ) features a third fireplace and has large entrances and panoramic valley views. It is equipped with an LED TV sofas and armchairs for listening to music or spending time with friends For your enjoyment, the house has WI-FI internet service throughout .
Outdoor areas include a pool nestled in the garden, dining loggia (seats sixteen) and lounge area overlooking the garden. The property also includes an original stone barbeque that can be used to prepare delicious meals for al fresco dining up a meal prepared from locally-sourced meats and produce sold every Wednesday at the local town square market. For children there is a large play area and the garden is all fenced so they can play safely.
Many wonderful destinations, including Florence, Siena, Cortona, Assisi, Arezzo and Rimini, are within easy driving distance and serve as great day trips. For the more adventurous, Rome and Pisa are each just a 2.5 hour drive from the house. There also are many charming small towns to explore, as well as restaurants and excellent shopping locally. If you are a shopper, designer outlets are just a short drive away.
Easily accessible - just half an hour's drive from Perugia International Airport with direct and cheap flights from London, Brussels, Zurich and so on.

Summary: We rented for the month of October, 2024. We broke the month into 3 section of 10 days each. The first section we invited friends, 6 couples, all retried adults. The next group were nieces and nephews all adults 30 to 40 years old. The last group was brothers and sisters. Needless to say I was worried that the Property would not live up to the pictures, no worries! The property is everything we wanted and more. Perfect! We had such a good time, plenty of areas to congregate, swimming pool maintained, rooms beautifully decorated and the whole place very clean. I recommend to everyone, you won’t be disappointed. It’s fantastic

Summary: This property is an excellent option for multiple families with children. We were 3 families with 6 children ranging from 2 to 12. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space and a large pool. Just outside the villa there are multiple playgrounds for the children to enjoy. The property is very clean. A little dusty in some parts due to its age, size and countryside location. Luca is fantastically responsive and friendly. A really excellent host. It was great to see Lido each day checking on the property / cleaning the pool and helping out with any questions we had. The kids loved seeing him! You definitely need a car but there is good parking availability and the nearby hilltop villages are truly stunning to visit, especially Anghiari. The 10minute walk to the pizza restaurant up the hill is off road so, if you can, it's worth it but if not then the drive is quick too. Nearest shop is a 2minute drive but quite small. Bigger shops within 10mins in Sansepolcro. We arranged for a chef to cook for us one evening. I highly recommend but do it earlier in the week as the leftovers will last for days!! Definitely worth returning with big groups again.

Summary: Beautiful house surrounded by large and secluded garden. Huge pool suited everyone’s needs in party ranging in age from 7 to 78. Perfect for sitting out and eating. We had some problems due to illness before we went. Owners were exceptionally helpful in dealing with these and made our stay perfect. Pool and grounds very well maintained throughout our stay. Online listing could be clearer about payment for electricity. Overall an excellent place to holiday with very helpful owners.

Summary: Villa lay out and furnishings perfect for adults and kids. Yard, pool, and recreation area ample for big family gatherings. Owners available daily for villa questions and local restaurant and historical site info. Area cook is excellent for onsite big family meal preparation. Italy at its best!

Summary: Cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience at Villa Ferraguzzo was. Starting with the proximity to Anghiari and major towns, we had access to many of the major sites in the area. The Villa itself was beautiful, from the ride through the main gates towards the luxurious swimming pool or along the cypress avenue towards the forest Our group of 14 were very comfortable and in a trip to Italy full of highlights, this was very high on the list.Luca provides very comprehensive and helpful information both about the property and the surrounding area. It is a beautiful family home

Summary: Lido Ferraguzzo- is very kind and considerate. The villa Padronale 's amazing and extremely clean. The view from the apartment is even more beautiful than the pictures. The extraordinary pool is very nice: Lido cleans every day. For children a paradise, many games, trampoline, swings, ping pong ... Highly recommend!

Summary: We were a group of 8 adults and had a fantastic holiday at this villa. The bedrooms are really comfortable and it was good to have so many bathrooms. The garden and pool are beautiful, very well cared for. Luca, the owner, was really helpful when we needed advice but not intrusive in anyway. A fabulous villa, location an holiday and we would thoroughly recommend it!

Summary: Our group of two families absolutely loved this large villa. Plenty of space for everyone young and old to spread out. We spent most of our time in the large pool or sitting at the long table on the terrace playing yahtzee and sampling the area's wonderful produce. One evening we had a chef cook for us and it was fantastic - like eating at a restaurant, but at the villa and with no washing up to do! The beautifully furnished bedrooms are all very spacious with their own bathrooms. Very clean and well maintained, with the added bonus of air conditioning which is charged separately, but extremely reasonable assuming you don't have it on 24/7. The mosquitoes were our only bother so take some plug-ins and insect repellent with you. The owners pop round every day and are available to organise just about anything you can think of, which included booking our table at the local pizzeria for our first and last nights (highly recommended but go early to catch the view over the valley). The level of care and attention is second-to-none and the best we've received on any trip. The setting is really pretty and although rural it's still convenient for day trips to nearby villages and towns (10 to 20 minutes), even cities if you are prepared to travel for an hour or two. We visited Citerna, Sansepolcro and Anghiari during our stay and loved their old world charm. The young adults in our group went to Rome for the day by train from Arezzo (journey time and prices vary greatly though so check ahead of time as to which service suits you). Supermarkets are also an easy drive, and the nearest town of Fighille is walk-able. It has a small supermarket and bar/cafe which we frequented on more than one occasion! All in all we had a fabulous relaxing time at the villa and no one wanted to leave. The children in the group absolutely loved the pool and one of our quieter teenagers declared it was 'the best holiday villa ever!'. We will all have a soft spot for this part of Italy and have fond memories to keep of our Italian holiday in Villa Ferraguzzo.

Summary: very nice and spacious house, many bath rooms, huge kitchen, 3 refrigerators, (very) large swimming pool, Lucca and Lido took very well care of us +looked after pool and garden + helped us with all we needed. Rooms upstairs could benefit of AC (but the weater was terribly hot with temperatures of 35-40°). IN SUMMARY: WE CAN STRONGLY (!) RECOMMEND THIS PLACE We can strongly recommend this place.
