Positive: This lodge is right across the street from a wonderful Las Cuevas beach. Very comfortable location if you want just to rest and enjoy the beach. As for dinner options there is practically no choice and the same - for taxi. You need to be prepared and have your taxi driver to arrange a ride. The couple that owns the lodge is just wonderful! They were so friendly and helpful, tried to arrange everything we needed! Very nice staff! The bed in the room was surprisingly comfortable! And the open terrace area is comfortable to hang out.
Negative: This is more likely a hostel than a hotel. We had a big room with a sea view but honestly all the room with all the furniture, towels and the bathroom needs a total renovation. It is so dated and I think they clean it before the clients, but it’s now almost impossible to get it clean … And I would suggest to put at least a small shower gel in the bathroom, if nothing else… And the breakfast - it was so little and poor.. we had to ask literally for everything - for some slices of tomato and cucumber, for butter.. Not to stay hungry for the whole day. But the hosts were really helpful and friendly- they tried to help us with the little things they had. Actually if you come prepared for all this and you have a car, it’s a good place to stay.

Positive: Well the budget room had a little issue with the ac so we were upgraded to another room at no extra price which was really nice this room the views were breathtaking...room and bath were bigger really comfortable
Negative: The room had a moldy scent and my sinus was attacking me other than that the breakfast should have something for ppl who have allergies etc should have a standard menu of some sort... However the upside is they did make something for me cuz I couldn't eat the eggs or cheese

Positive: I like the fact that the place was air-conditioned they had cable TV, hot water, a fridge, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, there was a dryer in the toilet. Also the toilet and bathroom was very spacious. And it was very close to the beach.
Negative: The room didn't have a microwave, the fridge could've been on a height. Like a stool or shelf.

Positive: I love that the hotel is near to the beach
Negative: That the room I was in did not have a smart tv to watch netflix or screen cast from your smart phone to the tv. They did not have outlets close to the bed to charge your devices which was quite unfortunate.
Summary: It's Not A bad Hotel to spend the nights at, it's actually relaxing & refreshing.
