Positive: Great location handy to shops etc, great house layout - loved the high ceilings Was lovely to have a log fire and hot tub. Would stay again, but overpriced!
Negative: Upon arrival went to use air fryer, lots of fat and ants in the bottom, informed host who said to spray, we did, but subsequently didn't use and spent quite a bit of our stay spraying ants who had migrated to different parts of the kitchen. The dishwasher hadn't been fully emptied and still had cutlery in it. Numerous lights are not working both inside and out, either blown or the bulbs simply not there. Hot tub light was not working, so the only way to get any light was to turn on the kitchen light (not ideal). Two out of the four lights in the master bedroom are not working (both on the right-hand side of bed), plus numerous others inside. Many kitchen drawers and cupboards have water damage and need to be repaired/replaced, the water damage on pantry shelves was worse and needs to be replaced, and there is also an obnoxious smell in the pantry so didn't use. Burnt socket in the bathroom. Master is a double, plus one room with bunk beds, the other with two small singles - consequently, my teenage son couldn't lie out straight as his feet went over the edge! Noisy road, particularly lorries using airbrakes, we weren't there for much of the day, so it was not too bad for us. It was quieter at the weekend. Although clean, could do with a deaper clean for those hard to reach areas, etc. Tidy house, but looking tired. It is on the market, so suspect that's why these issues are not being addressed.

Positive: The house is large and comfortable, everything is there. The beds are very comfy and having two lounge areas was great with the kids. We enjoyed the spa. This was our second stay here and we have enjoyed it both times. Good value for money. Handy location to the motorway and North Shore activities. Very helpful property manager and good communication.
Negative: The traffic noise was noticeable on the week days but not so much on the weekend. I didn't notice it at all on our first stay. It wasn't enough to bother anyone though, we live in a very quiet rural place so we likely noticed it more than others would.

Positive: Was a great property for kids with the swings, trampoline and monkey bars and the dog loved running around in a fenced in yard. We all enjoyed the hot tub and had a nice meal at the outdoor table.
Negative: Struggled with the coffee machine but I think that’s on us. Maybe some regular plunger coffee since there is a plunger would be helpful for those of us that aren’t us to machine coffee. Still a five star stay!
Summary: Great place for a family and very dog friendly.

Negative: The stay was ok but things to note is that the deck has rotten in places as to was the kids tree house, this was a safety hazard especially because our kids were keen to explore the property. The house at first presented to be clean but on further expection There was mold growing in the coffee machine, spider webs over the windows on the inside, previous soaps in the bathroom from other guests to name a few things we noted.
