Negative: Bathroom sink too small and tap wasn't anywhere near powerful to give enough water to wash in. Kitchen sink hot tap not powerful enough, water pressure low. Didn't like the cooker hob, not responsive enough to control temperature.

Positive: The location was great. Just out of the way of the hustle and bustle but close enough to Weymouth and surrounding areas. Bathroom and linens very clean.
Negative: The cottage smelt musty and damp. Despite the air freshener plug in you could not get away from the smell. I think the cushions and curtains are in need of a wash and the damp smell is engrained in them. A little extra care when cleaning would also be good. There were a few cobwebs on and around the light fixtures and spiders were present here and there. Also, the number of flies that kept coming in to the property was a bit annoying. Although this is likely just the surrounding area and not the fault of the property itself. The fridge didn’t seem cool enough, despite us altering the settings.
Summary: Great location. Property needs a bit of TLC

Negative: NO HOT WATER FOR A DAY key safe jammed and we had to wait an hour to be let in Batteries dead for remote control cost £5.50 at local shop Finally the Bath/shower was difficult to get out of

Positive: Great location. The cottage is set in square (possibly once a farmyard) of similar thatched cottages. It has been refurbished throughout. It was very comfy and cosy (during cold November nights), spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed. Good pub about a mile away.
Negative: Minor nit picks. The directions could have been clearer (especially as we arrived in the dark). It was a bit closer to the main road than we'd expected, though it only gets busy when people are travelling to and from work.
