Positive: We really enjoyed our stay at Lazurite Apartamento! Located in a nice and calm area, in a pedestrian street full of plants in the village El Tablero, it is only 10 minutes driving from Maspalomas. There is no private parking space but we had no issue finding free spots just few minutes away. Barbara, the host, has been very helpful since the beginning, giving us directions and all useful information. The apartment was spacious and bright, decorated with a lot of care. We also loved the outside space. We recommend staying there!

Positive: As a family of 7 we stayed in 2 different apartments between us. One was the ground floor one bedroom apartment. The Jacuzzi style bath is a nice touch and fortunately has a shower over it too. The other was the 2 bedroom ground floor apartment. They were both cozy and well decorated and above all pleasantly clean. A lovely Mediterranean feel to them with beautiful touches throughout. We stayed for 8 nights and all liked it very much. The host - Bárbara was very helpful and a delightful lady to know. Very very welcoming. She met us upon arrival and left us avocados from her tree which isn't everyone's taste but still a lovely gesture. We got a lot of useful recommendations of where to visit and to eat. And even before we arrived she was doing everything she could to help us with our stay. In fact she did so much that I think it backfired on us a little! ( See below). There are a few grocery stores in the area and also one or two simple bars and cafes ( Tito Henry was a great little spot - apart from the smokers). As others have noted, you'll probably need a car if you stay here or the use of Taxis like us but it's a brilliantly placed location for getting to beaches and resorts on the south coast. And even though we were not quite walking distance from most places, it was very nice being away from the usual tourist spots and over populated crowds.
Negative: The one bed apartment - we had a little trouble with opening the main door with the keys initially, sometimes you get the hang of it straight away, sometimes you don't!. Being in the heart of El Tablero, you do hear a lot of street noise and noise from the apartments above which of course isn't their fault but it can be frustrating if they are night owls and you're not! Apartment with 2 bedrooms is what backfired on us because I have a Mobility issue so Bárbara, I believe, was trying to do me a favour and prevent me using stairs but in fact I think the upstairs apartment would have served 5 of us better. Plus there is an oven and outdoor space for hanging wet clothes. You don't have this option in either ground floor apartments which is a shame when you are a big number of guests. The kitchen is fairly functional but we would definitely have appreciated an oven and toaster and perhaps a clothes horse/drier somewhere in the 2 bedroom apartment.
Summary: Lovely, quaint apartments away from the hustle and bustle!
