Enjoy a short four minute stroll to the gorgeous beaches of 30A when you stay at ' Lazy Magnolia,' a three bedroom, three bath home located in Magnolia Cottages by the Sea. This one-story cottage has all you need for the perfect family vacation or long-weekend with your friends. Nestled in the sand dunes and native brush of Seacrest, you'll enjoy the natural, quiet setting this cottage offers. Pavered streets add a quaint neighborly feel to the homes. Just north of 30-A, you are only steps from the beach access walkover (300 yards!).
Master bedroom: A comfortable firm king-size bed, 46" Samsung TV, and a recently updated private bath with a large luxurious shower. Guest Bedroom: Pillow-top queen-size bed, new flat screen TV, private bath with shower/bathtub combo. Third bedroom: Two twin-size beds with wall-mounted TV.
Jenn-Air/Bosch appliances and granite countertops greet you in the kitchen. It is stocked with the essentials you need to get started. A full-size washer and dryer are also provided for you.
You will love the airy and serene living area with a 55" Samsung 4k TV with digital cable and premium channels. A built-in speaker system and a high-speed wi-fi connection are additional upgrades you'll enjoy.
For the outdoor lovers, you will appreciate the largest screened-in porch Magnolia has to offer. This second living area comes complete with a full-sized sofa, loveseat glider and chair. Bright cushions and year-round wicker will put the happy in happy hour! There is also a table and chairs for your morning coffee.
The shared swimming pool is just steps from our cottage or take a brief stroll to the beach. Grab one of the 4 bikes provided and take a cruise on the 30-A bike path. Enjoy an afternoon exploring Rosemary Beach, the shops of Seaside, or bike to a local park for an up-close look at nature. Bring your golf clubs for world-renowned golfing at area courses. And don't forget about the shopping on 30-A as well as the famous outlet malls of Destin!
Beach Access: Our beach access is located directly across the street from the neighborhood. To sit near the access from March 1st to November 15th, you must rent a beach chair setup (two chairs and one umbrella) from a local vendor, whose information I can provide. Alternatively, you may use the public beach, which is just a two-minute walk to the right. We have six beach chairs and an umbrella available for you to use there. The benefit of using the public beach is that it is typically less crowded and more relaxing, and there is a shower for rinsing off your feet and beach items at the end of the day.

Summary: Really can’t say enough good things about this property and owner. It’s well stocked with high quality amenities (including Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrellas) and the overall furnishings are nice. Owner and management company was very responsive as well. Would hesitate to stay here again.

Summary: This place was lovely. It’s just tucked away enough to feel peaceful and grounded, amid all the busyness of 30a. The pool has the same woodsy, quiet feel and is just two houses away. It wasn’t a busy pool either most of the time. The walk to the beach is about 3 blocks to 30a, and then a short distance down the side of the hill. The bathrooms were beautiful and updated. The beds were very comfortable, and the porch added a lot of extra living space when we wanted a bit of space from other people in our group who might be playing a game or watching a movie. Also, for anyone with kids, Raw and Juicy in Alys beach was close and gave us a perfect spot to eat and let the kids play at the adjoining park. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Summary: We had a great stay at Lazy Magnolia. This is our 4th year staying in this neighborhood and this is by far our favorite house so far. We already booked again for next year. House is updated, clean, and just like the pictures. All kitchen utensils were available. Bikes and beach gear in the shed were an awesome addition. Perfect stay for my family of 5. Dan was a great host and provided great communication. Cant wait to stay here again.

Summary: This was perfect for our family-close to the beach and the community pool was a hit with the kids. Great location for families with young children, the neighborhood seemed very family oriented and safe. It was great to have beach chairs, umbrellas and wagon to use for beach days. We also enjoyed the bicycles and there are great bike trails close by.

Summary: It was great other than the construction next door. There was full crew making lots of noise early in the am. We would definitely stay in the cottage again; it was well stocked with items we needed and a good location. Please note that once you get on the private access beach you are required to walk further down because it has been purchased by those who live directly on the beach. Not a deal breaker but just more walking if that is a problem.

Summary: My family of four loved this house! It was a short walk to the beach, very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed using the provided bikes to ride to nearby shopping areas. The location to restaurants and a grocery store was wonderful! Dan was an excellent communicator and host. We would definitely stay at Lazy Magnolia again!!

Summary: Absolutely amazing stay at Lazy Magnolia! The property and entire neighborhood were so nice. The home was very convenient to the beach walkover, which was great having little kids with us. The inside of the home was immaculately clean and cozy. The bathrooms were SO nice and the beds were very comfortable. It was well equipped with everything we could’ve needed for our stay from beach toys, to beach wagons, to kitchen equipment, to band aids. When we weren’t on the beach, we were hanging out on the screened in porch, which had beautiful views of the wooded neighborhood and was surprisingly quiet. We had a slight issue with the AC, but Dan had someone out to fix it within an hour and had no other issues the remainder of our trip. Rosemary and Alys Beaches were both within a bike ride as well, which was great! I could go on and on and on about this house and its location and our host. We can’t wait to visit again soon!
