Positive: Very spacious, and very well designed flat. Location is perfect if you travel by train - right at the station and seconds away from the old town. Large bathroom with great shower.
Negative: The elevator was broken (as always is based on the feedback from some people living here), and 70 steps with two young kids and a stroller is hard. Smell from the restaurant outside which doesn’t let you enjoy the small terrasse. Lack of enough cutlery to eat twice as a family.

Positive: Right in old town. Close to everything and parking.
Negative: The concierge had no idea how to lock the door. Had to exchange messages for 20 minutes with no result. It happen to figure out on my own. They told me they had no solution to the front door not being locked during the night. I was very close to call booking.com for another option.

Positive: The apartment is very charming with rustic decorations which were very pretty and there is a nice little balcony. It basically looks just like the photos and it has all the facilities you could need. There was only air conditioning in the main living area which was very much needed, as there was a heatwave during our holiday! The bedrooms do not have it but fans were provided instead. The beds were very comfortable. The concierge service sent a whatsapp on arrival with instructions to collect the keys but I didn't receive this. Fortunately there was a phone number to call and my nephew (who is French) was able to speak to them and they then provided all the instruction we needed to collect the the keys, (which were in a key box), and access the apartment. As the buildings are so old with all the original features, the stairs are quite narrow and winding, so having a lift in the building is a great asset. It is only small but it does the job. The location is central to be able to walk around the centre of Montpellier and the old town. I would definitely stay in this apartment again when I visit Montpellier...but perhaps not in August! I have been to Montpellier before outside of Summer and the temperature was much easier to manage, so this apartment would be perfect for another visit and the small negatives do not detract from the overall stay. ☺
Negative: Communication with the concierge service could have been better prior to visit, they do not respond immediately but do respond within 24 hours if you have a question. We unfortunately did not receive the whatsapp message that they sent, so had to call them. The heat in the bedroom at night was very hot as there was no air conditioning there, so I would recommend staying here outside of the very hot summer months.
