Negative: The gas cylinder ran out on the stove top. There was one electric element & a microwave as back up, but it would have been better to have a full cylinder.
Summary: Great in all aspects, but a glitch cooking our dinner.

Positive: Well equipped, good size, very clean and neat. Some cold drinks and coffee included. Auxonne was pleasant surprise, very interesting and historical location. I recommend to take some time in the village. Great service, the host responds quickly if there are any questions.
Negative: Small remark on WiFi. No info but did not bother to find out.
Summary: Really nice and more than expected. Great value!

Positive: We didn’t find the key safe very easy to use but there were a number of people around who knew what to do. Shortly after our arrival the owner arrived. She was a delightful lady. She pointed out that there were drinks for us in the fridge and tea and coffee. The apartment had a well equipped kitchen. The oven was easy to use. The apartment is well placed to walk into the lovely old town and if you need to shop it is almost opposite Aldi.
Negative: Unfortunately our French is very limited and the lady didn’t speak English. She tried to explain how to use the WiFi code and we thought we’d understood. However after numerous attempts we gave up and used our phone hotspot.
Summary: Enjoyed our stay in a well equipped spotlessly clean apartment.

Positive: Before arriving the hosts were very responsive to messages, which was helpful. The apartment was very clean, warm with everything that you could need for a short stay. The bedding and towels were clean and the beds comfortable. The hosts also provided complimentary soft drinks, which we all enjoyed. The host recommended a local Italian restaurant, Da Vincy, which was about 15 minutes walk away from the apartment. The food was superb and the staff very welcoming. There is also a boulangerie next to the restaurant where we bought pastries and bread from in the morning. Almost directly opposite the apartment is an Aldi (great value) and a petrol station. All in all, the apartment was a great find.
Negative: There is only one small toilet, which may not be suitable for larger groups. That said, we were a family of 6 and this was fine. The entrance to the apartment is on the main road, but inside the apartment you can hardly hear any street traffic and not at all in the rear bedrooms. I would recommend parking on the pavement directly outside the front entrance.
