Positive: We had the most wonderful stay at Clos de Morière and can’t recommend it highly enough. Nestled in the peaceful countryside just outside Mont-Dol, the location is perfect for exploring the coast and historic towns nearby, from Mont Saint-Michel and Cancale to Dinan and Saint-Malo, while offering total calm and privacy at the end of the day. The property itself is stunning. The gardens are beautifully kept, with space for children to play and plenty of quiet corners to relax in. The rooms are elegant and spacious, with real attention to detail: comfortable beds, tasteful decor, and thoughtful touches throughout. Everything was spotlessly clean and immaculately presented. What really sets Clos de Morière apart is the hosts. Dominique and Patrice are exceptional, warm, welcoming and always ready to help. They gave brilliant advice on where to go, what to see and where to eat, taking into account the ages and interests of our children. Nothing was too much trouble, and their kindness made us feel completely at home. They were particularly lovely with the kids, offering tips on family-friendly beaches, child-friendly walks and nearby attractions. You can tell they care deeply about making each guest’s stay special. This is the kind of place you remember, not just for its beauty and location, but for the generosity and care of the people who run it. We’re already thinking about when we can return.

Positive: Wonderful visit! The Cocon de La Baie suite is spacious, spotless and quiet, with a modern kitchen, comfortable furnishings and a lovely deck outside. The property is peaceful and beautiful, overlooking farmland, yet only 10 minutes from several good restaurants in nearby towns and about 30 - 45 minutes from Saint-Malo, Dinan and Mont St. Michel. The breakfasts are large, varied and delicious, with fruits, fresh juices, cheeses, yogurts and at least 3 different loaves of bread — PLUS a fresh, homemade treat such as crepes, waffles or torte. Every day! Dominique and Patrice are kind, welcoming and helpful hosts, with suggestions for outings and restaurants.
