Positive: Close to nature yet fully functional and well managed facilities. The rooms are clean, quiet and well equipped. Close to many nearby things-to-visit. Breakfast is served with great bread/cheese/juices/fruits. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back again!

Positive: Didier and Valerie are amazing hosts. We spent three nights here with our children in two separate rooms located above the reception. Rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. Valerie and Didier provide a table d’hotes service and so we ate here on two evenings. On both occasions the food was excellent. Breakfast was also superb- croissants, bread, cheese, jams and an offer of fresh scrambled eggs. The pool area is impeccably designed and maintained, as is the rest of the sprawling property. No surprise given the owner is a former architect! Our kids also loved the animals that roamed around the grounds - a donkey, a pony and of course Titi the cat and the very large but friendly dog!
Negative: Please. More comfortable pillows.

Positive: We absolutely loved our holiday at Le Clos Vallis. The gîte was beautiful, nice decor and beautiful grounds. Lovely swimming pool, perfect temperature. The hosts, Valerie and Didier were very welcoming and friendly, and would help in any way they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The property was well located for visiting the sites of the Dordogne, and it was easy to access Sarlat and facilities such as supermarkets and restaurants.
Summary: Amazing, beautiful and we didn’t want to leave.

Positive: Everything about this property is wonderful! The owners Valerie and Didier are so attentive and welcoming. The breakfast was fabulous and the selection of produce was local and Valerie even made the jam. The decor was very stylish and in keeping with the property, the bed was huge and very comfortable. I highly Recommend this beautiful property and it is close to town but you have the privacy and feel of an up market farm stay in the French country side.
