Positive: The rooms were lovely, very traditional and with a very large bed. Breakfast each morning was fresh and it was lovely of the owners to schedule in a time for breakfast that worked for us. We were given the right level of privacy when we wanted it. The honesty bar downstairs was also a godsend for us after a few long days wondering around the region! Parking was easy enough to find in the village and the owners did a great job of signposting us.
Negative: Only downside was the heat the region was experiencing when we went. There is absolutely nothing that the owners could do in fairness and we were given an exceptionally large fan and advice about how to cool the room. No accommodation in this area has air conditioning and I wouldn’t expect it either.
Summary: Excellent stay - run by a lovely couple.

Positive: Beautifully and tastefully renovated medieval building in the heart of Issigeac. Very warm and friendly welcome from the hosts. Great continental breakfast and there are communal kitchen facilities should you want to self-cater for some your other meals. Honesty bar downstairs is a nice touch. No hesitation in recommending this establishment.
