Positive: The hotel is located in a beautiful 19th-early 20th-century manor house. The atmosphere is just right: the floors, windows, doors, walls, and fireplace. Everything is very charming and beautiful. The small, irregular garden with an artificial stream is very pleasant. Birds sing in the morning, and frogs at night! Furthermore, the bathroom is new and high-quality. And the bedding is good. Convenient free parking behind the hotel fence.

Negative: Breakfast was advertised as costing 23 euros. Upon arrival, we were offered a choice of several dishes from the menu, but prices were not included. We decided to pay 23 euros for the entire set. However, upon checkout, we received a bill of almost 70 euros for breakfast.

Summary: A place to prepare well for your visit to Claude Monet's garden.

Positive: The hotel is in a beautiful part of Giverny. It excudes class and comfort and the staff are incredibly attentive and courteous. According to my girlfriend, the food is incredible and the restaurant was a delightful experience. Additionally, the gardens and grounds were in impeccable condition. Also, we had a beautifully packed breakfast picnic in the room which overlooked the gardens. It is an accessible and easy walk from the centre and attractions such as Monet's garden.

Negative: The bath/shower situation was the only criticism! My girlfriend is particularly fond of a shower but the bath, a large bath admittedly, was in the center of the room. It was the only negative and that is entirely to do with preference.

Positive: Great location clean and comfortable bed and the garden was very tranquil , the bathroom was great

Negative: Didn't like the breakfast set up where a basket was delivered to your room just too fiddly and not so keen on it being on two levels as we had to go downstairs for the toilet in the middle of the night

Positive: The location was perfect, as we were attending a Wedding 2 minutes away. The grounds were absolutely beautiful. We didn't eat there unfortunately, as food was provided for us at the Wedding and morning after. The staff were very helpful and kind.

Negative: The room was lovely and open plan, but would have liked a door on the toilet. I couldn't hang my full length dress in the cupboard, only short things! The storage wasn't great and would have liked a bigger surface to put things on and better lighting. These are minor things, but worth a mention.
