Positive: Exceptional location within the walled city! So easy and fun to explore. 3 bedrooms, 3 showers, 4 toilets! Nice coffee to enjoy in the garden. A dream!
Negative: Not being able to drive up for luggage drop off. However, the stay was totally worth lugging suitcases around the walled path for!

Positive: The host met us at the property with a little welcome gift (a bottle of wine and some basics in the fridge). The house is wonderful and right in the middle of things. Even though it’s only a two minute walk from the centre of town it’s really quiet through the day and the evening if you want to rest in the garden.

Negative: Not the owners fault, but it was 37 degrees while we were there (97). No air conditioning, which i can understand, but I would have thought they would provide a fan in at least one of the rooms. The stairs are SO narrow and twisty, it was almost impossible to climb, and there was no chance of bringing our suitcases upstairs, we had to leave them downstairs in the kitchen. We only had carryon luggage, but getting them from the parking lot outside the city walls up to the apartment was so hard especially in the heat! The bedroom window literally opens over the bed, so if you sit up in bed, you could easily hit your head on the window frame. And no screens, so the flies and bees can all come inside. We ended up leaving early, and found another place to stay with air conditioning. The owners were extremely nice, but that didn’t help the situation. Stay here not in the summer and use the smaller bedroom to avoid the window problem, and it would be very nice. The location in the city was ideal.
