Positive: Absolutely gorgeous mansion house, both inside and outside. The place is beautifully decorated, has a heated outdoor swimming pool, a large garden with lots of areas to sit down, picnic, a tennis net, swings, a little stream of water... there is even a grand piano you can play in the living room! The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming, breakfast was delicious and served in the veranda with a view of the garden. The location is quiet so we slept very well. It's best to come with a car - Chateau de Chenonceau is about 10min drive away and Amboise/Clos de Lucé about 20mins. There is a supermarket about 10mins away in Bléré so it was possible to get food and have a picnic in the garden of the property. The rooms have everything you need, including kettle (rare in France!) and tea bags, coffee, mini fridge, bathrobes and extra towels and flipflops for the pool. You can also log into your own Netflix/Amazon Prime on the TV. We had the 3 person room with the four poster bed and 1 single bed. The four poster bed was very large and comfortable and the bathroom was very big. We loved it and there was enough room for 3 people.

Positive: Jane, Kristoff and Camilla were most welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The property and grounds are beautiful, set in the hamlet of Francueil. We spent five wonderfully relaxing days at Le Moulin De Francueil, with its lovely swimming pool and all round homely atmosphere, surrounded by antique furniture. There is ample parking, outside the front door. Montrichard is the nearest town, with shops and plenty of restaurants.Blére, with two supermarkets, is a couple of km away.
Negative: There was nothing we didn't like.

Positive: A beautiful place, but be aware that this property is fairly remote. Taxis, Uber, and Bolt are virtually non-existent in that area, and it is a long walk to the small town of Chenanceaux. Therefore, unless you are looking for isolation, you WILL need a car. You can rent one in the St-Pierre-des-Corps train station.
