Positive: Very nice breakfast in the veranda, nice park and very close to the castel, less than 2 mn drive. The room was nicely decorated, the bathroom was a good size, the kids room even have their bathroom.

Summary: A very pretty spot in the countryside in a perfectly renovated period manor house.

Positive: One of the best French Bed&Breakfast we’ve ever stayed in. Hosts are VERY welcoming. The house is beautifully decorated and cozy, it looks like a castle and we felt we went back in time. The stairs to the rooms are real, but we feel it is all part of the experience and we get to see a stunning view from up there, we are surrounded by so much nature it’s peaceful and quiet. The bed is very comfortable and we woke up to a delicious breakfast served in the terrace, while listening to nice French songs. It was a such a pleasant stay. We are definitely going back!

Positive: Absolutely gorgeous mansion house, both inside and outside. The house has a heated outdoor swimming pool and a large garden - there is even a grand piano you can play in the living room! The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming. The location is quiet. It's best to come with a car - Chateau de Chenonceau is about 10min drive away and Amboise/Clos de Lucé about 20mins, and there is a supermarket about 10mins away in Bléré. The rooms have everything you need, including kettle, mini fridge, bathrobes and extra towels and flipflops for the pool. You can also log into your own Netflix/Amazon Prime on the TV. We had the 3 person room with the four poster bed and 1 single bed. The four poster bed was very large and comfortable and the bathroom is very big.

Negative: Nothing!

Positive: Jane, Kristoff and Camilla were most welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The property and grounds are beautiful, set in the hamlet of Francueil. We spent five wonderfully relaxing days at Le Moulin De Francueil, with its lovely swimming pool and all round homely atmosphere, surrounded by antique furniture. There is ample parking, outside the front door. Montrichard is the nearest town, with shops and plenty of restaurants.Blére, with two supermarkets, is a couple of km away.

Negative: There was nothing we didn't like.

Positive: A beautiful place, but be aware that this property is fairly remote. Taxis, Uber, and Bolt are virtually non-existent in that area, and it is a long walk to the small town of Chenanceaux. Therefore, unless you are looking for isolation, you WILL need a car. You can rent one in the St-Pierre-des-Corps train station.
