Summary: We had a wonderful holiday at le moulin de la follaine. Its a calm and quiet, lush place and a great location from which you can travel to all the wonders of the pays Loire. We stayed at the gite, resembling a cute cottage, for a week and a half. There is a beautiful private garden when you rent the gite, but the whole premise (pond included) is accessible, very pretty and filled with animals such as 4 great cats, geese and chickens. The hosts were welcoming and accomodating. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Summary: Beautiful setting in a very old (1450) flower mill. Very well decorated and clean. The hosts are charming and the breafast was out of this world.

Summary: Sabine and Jean-Luc’s place is delightful, as are they. A beautiful and relaxing place to stay, with a delightful garden where we had a picnic on our last night. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We definitely hope to return one day. Thank you Sabine and Jean-Luc.

Summary: We stayed here one night with 2 adults and 3 children. We've had an incredible experience, it was so peaceful and unique. There was a large garden for the children to play and various places to sit and enjoy the animals walking around, like cats, chicken and peacock, and watch the fish in the pond. The host welcomed us and immediately made diner reservations for us at a local restarant, which was very nice of him, because the nearest restaurant was at about 10 km and it seemed to become a busy night. The building is an old mill and the bedroom was also in that style, so it was a very nice cosy looking accommodation. Breakfast was served outside, that was a pleasant surprise. It was a very tasty breakfast and the hosts were nearby if we needed anything else. Altogether, our stay was amazing!

Summary: What a wonderful location and a warm welcome given at moulin Follaine. Beautiful house and gardens. There’s even a chateau just a few steps from the house! Just ten minutes from Loches made Moulin Follaine a great base for exploring the Loire region. Lovely breakfast included with fresh breads, croissants, jam, yogurts. Highly recommend
