Positive: It was very well located, generously sized and comfortable rooms in a beautiful and charming character building set in a lovely landscape. A very nice pool and dining room, with very good hosts and extremely helpful and friendly staff. The food offerings from Christoph were superb with the dinner menu changing daily with incredible seasonal French food, also taking into account personal dietary needs - incredibly unique!!
Negative: Nothing really
Summary: Would have liked to stay longer, and I hope to return. I would recommend to my friends to stay.

Positive: Very attractive. Nice pool area and staff were great. Room was comfortable and bathroom shower was right up there.
Negative: The final delivery of some food dishes was sub-optimal. The main courses were clearly left under a heat lamp for too long.

Positive: From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel really welcome and were incredibly helpful. The restaurant was great. The food was both delicious and well presented. Breakfast was also a highlight with fresh, local and organic produce.

Positive: How stay was extremely short, just overnight with early AM departure. Location is beautiful and peaceful with amazing, well kept grounds. The restaurant, advertised was closed; however the staff was extremely helpful in finding us alternative with our food request. Note that we went completely off season and most places were closed as Hotel is located in a tourist area. All hotels in area were mostly empty and most restaurant closed for dinner. But they found a place for us to eat that was just amazing and corresponded to what we asked for. They did call about 10 places for us and even checked their menu so we would be happy. By the time we came back down from settling in, they had a reservation made for us in a great little place: "La Chaumiere" in Montignac near the Lascaux Cave AMAZING STAFF !!! Soooo Nice
Negative: Restaurant was closed but only because it was their normal Monday closure.

Positive: Fabulous setting in nice county location. Excellent evening meal.
Negative: Everything was at an extra cost. No hot drinks facilities in the room. No a/c or even a fan.
