Positive: The position was perfect. The room was beautifully decorated if you are tall the sloping roof may be annoying. Breakfast was an added extra.
Negative: After a long hot drive around the congested roads finding the way to the property and then having to drive again to the car park was a mission!

Positive: The location is superb right opposite the famous cathedral with our room with a lovely view of it. The staff were very helpful and friendly and arranged parking just a couple of doors down and a great breakfast with fresh produce.. The accommodation is a character property with history. We really enjoyed our 1 night stay.
Negative: The bed could be more comfortable but it was ok

Negative: hotel was totally locked when we arrived , no staff to receive us. no staff at the hotel or restaurant below. after an hour or so we had made contact with the owner who was in Paris. he tried to explain how to park the car. eventually another guest of the hotel explained parking and found us the ticket. the owner phoned again and gave us the code for the key press to get into the hotel and telling us the room we were to stay in. with no staff we were unable to book breakfast. someone needs to be at the hotel to welcome guests and not leave until they are settled in.
Summary: fantastic location. chaotic reception and treatment of arriving guests.

Positive: Fantastic location next to the cathedral and all the cafes and restaurants. The hotel is in a medieval building and has lots of character. Our room had all the old world charm but with a modern functional bathroom including a very nice walk-in shower. There is no elevator and two flights of stairs but we didn't see that as a problem. The breakfast was lovely. Parking is in a commercial multistorey car park about 300m from the hotel and the parking fee is included in the cost ... unless street parking next to the hotel is found. The instructions for how to drop off the luggage next to the hotel before parking the car were detailed and clear as were the instructions for late arrival with self check-in as was the case for us.
Negative: If you have mobility problems two flights of stairs would be an issue though for most people it isn't a problem. Again, parking 300m away might be considered a problem if you have mobility issues but not otherwise.
Summary: Lovely mix of medieval charm and modern facilities in an unbeatable location
