Positive: We were offered a welcome drink with the hosts on arrival which was appreciated after a long drive. The room was of a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The setting was very peaceful and quiet. Continental Breakfast was served in the lounge at a time to suit.
Negative: The property was fairly difficult to find. The bathroom was for our own private use but not ensuite however the facilities were of a high standard.

Positive: Every possible care was taken by Anne and Gilles who could not do more to make us feel at home (although their home is nicer than ours!). They are obviously in the business because they love meeting people and you soon feel you have new friends.
Negative: The only thing that I could criticise is the the duvet was much too thick for me. To sleep under a thick duvet, especially in August, is impossible. I simply brought in a light blanket from the car and used that instead. I'm sure our hosts would have tried to find a solution, but I didn't ask as this was the simplest solution. It must be said that this problem of a too thick duvet (or an over-heated room - but this one was not) is almost universal in all hotels - I don't know why more people don't mention it generally (and I am not naturally a person who is always hot - I am usually quite cold).
Summary: A delightful stay and we hope to visit again!

Positive: It was a well placed location for our journey to Dieppe and very handy for Le Mans. The accommodation is of an excellent standard in all respects and we were greeted with a welcome drink and snack from our generous hosts. We cannot praise it highly enough.

Positive: Anne and Gilles are lovely, friendly hosts. Our little suite had a private entry through the garden and could be closed off from the rest of the house for total privacy. The setting was quiet and peaceful looking out over a large yard/garden surrounded by woods and wildlife. Breakfast in their dining room surrounded by large windows looking out into the garden was a real treat. We felt very welcome and at home there.
Negative: Can't think of anything.
Summary: Very enjoyable. Would recommend without hesitation.

Positive: the host and her father were absolutely incredible and responsive throughout my full stay, offering me a lift to the base of Dinara and then back to knin on my departure. A special mention to the hosts father who made me feel incredibly welcome and even showed me around the local Bowles club for a drink as well as making me some food for when I got back from the mountain. I can’t recommend this place enough.
Negative: the WiFi sometimes dropped out a little bit but it is understandable in a remote area like Kijevo.
Summary: I don’t usually leave reviews but this was the best experience I’ve had on booking.com
