Summary: Nice place to stay overnight and relax at the pool with a nice dinner after easy parking and check in. Efficient and well organized with reasonably priced dinner and wine perfect for one or several nights. Breakfast is French only, but tasteful.

Summary: We were cycling the Via Rhona. This hotel is a little off the track, The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable; perfectly adequate. Be aware that nothing in the village is open on a Monday night. You will need a car to drive to Orange.

Summary: We were cycling the Via Rhona. This hotel is a little off the track, but absolutely worth the detour. A quintessential village retreat, covered in flowers and with superb views of the Rhone Valley. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable; perfectly adequate with a great bathroom. The food is a highlight here. Tough to overstate how good it was; both dinner and breakfast. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout.

Summary: Very spacious room in a beautiful property. Would be better if the bathroom has a curtain or a door. Staff are friendly. Check in and check out are fuss free. Highly recommend.

Summary: This was a lovely set up, with a warm welcome and superb meal in the restaurant. The room was comfortable but for an overpowering smell of damp coming from the en suite bathroom. The black grout and masking tape on the bathroom floor indicated this was a long standing issue. Management said it will be addressed before the room (#4) is booked again.

Summary: Loved the small, historic, family run property. Dining on the terrace with excellent cuisine was most enjoyable. A great location for attending the opera in Orange.

Summary: Lovely place, not far away from Orange and wishing shooting distance to many wonderful restaurants - standard rooms on first floor solid, with a nice little terrace overlooking a nearby park - think next time we will try the rooms by the garden/pool - which we will try as well next time as opposed to on our way back home. Wonderful welcome and helpful - recommended. (also worth noting property is gated, saving you the need to offload the car in the evening!).

Summary: We loved Le Pre du Moulin! We were looking for a quiet, relaxing retreat for our honeymoon and it was perfect. Room (#7) had a modern design and was updated, clean, and comfortable - even had a lovely terrace. We had a country view from our room and looked out onto a lovely park - having a courtyard view may have been a bit louder. It offered lots of amenities: a pool, a courtyard, a bistro, a more formal dining room, and access to the small village - though no WiFi in our room. The village is surrounded by vineyards in the Cote de Rhone region and is within driving distance to many cities in southern France: Avignon (45 min), Montpellier (1.5 hr), Aix-en-Provence (1.5 hr), Roussilon/Gordes/Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (45 min), and Nice/Cannes (2.5 hours). We dined at Le Pre du Moulin three of our six nights and the food was delicious - it kept us coming back. Dining in the courtyard was the best - with the one exception: the other diners were able to smoke as much as they wanted while we were eating (though it's like this everywhere in France). The service was perfect for the setting. They were attentive when we requested something and otherwise left us alone. They provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and wine tasting - even a traffic report for our drives. Also, they speak English and were patient when we tried to speak French. The room and the meals are bit pricy, but it's all worth it. We highly recommend staying at Le Pre du Moulin!
