Positive: Our host gave us a warm welcome to her home and explained all of the things in the room. Francoise made a wonderful recommendation for dinner which we thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was delicious and having the Aussie ABC news on the TV was the extra touch. Highly recommend this property.

Positive: We loved that the hosts actually picked us up at the railway station in Longueau (about 15 minutes drive from Villers-Bretonneux. Exception service. They made us feel welcome straight away... I love them ❤️. Their breakfast is amazing (& also includes Vegemite, for us Aussies 👍. The hosts make visitors welcome. And for use as Australians the town is the Best!!! The town is about 4500 people and it feels very nice. The John Monash Memorial Centre at the Australian/French Cemetery, just 3 km north of town, is exceptional. You must go there and see it, but make sure you take your mobile/cell phone to load the app and headphones or earbuds to make full use of the centre. Thankyou Françoise and François. We really loved staying with you. We only wish it was for longer ❤️

Positive: Francoise and Francois provided kind and homely hospitality. My stay was very comfortable and their generosity was greatly appreciated. The room with private en-suite was spacious, quiet and thoughtfully arranged with a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and toiletries. Location was central and easy to get everywhere even walking. Francoise cooked a delicious breakfast each morning and gave great walking directions and suggestions. Francois kindly drove me to Roisel so that I could see my great grandfather’s grave which was such a pleasant and considerate gesture.
Negative: Nothing. Everything was perfect!

Positive: Very inviting and cosy family home. Centrally located in the town and easily got a park outside the front door. Comfortable beds, fresh air and air-conditioning in our room. Plenty of power points and luggage space. Nice, countryside walking path to Sir John Monash Centre.
Negative: It was lovely, just need to note we stayed upstairs on the second floor, access via two narrow spiral staircases (FYI if you have big, heavy bags).
Summary: Very comfortable, welcoming hosts, central location.

Positive: Loved the homely feel of Le Relais de L’Aube from our room to the lovely breakfast room complete with a beautiful breakfast each morning of muesli, yoghurt, stewed fruits, crepes, croissants and lots of homemade treats and a cooked meal too!
