Positive: We loved the location of this apartment so close to the river and easily accessible on the ferryboat.
Negative: Though the hosts immediately activated the refund of the 400Euro deposit, it still took a long time (two weeks) to reappear in my account.

Positive: Cosy apartment in the heart of an old hippie fishing village, now become quite posh. The house is very modern and shiny. The location lovely, as easy to reach the city centre by navibus (ferry, every 10 min)
Negative: The flat is small, has no dishwasher nor washing machine. The letting agents require a deposit of 400 euros for, in our case, a stay of 2 days. Frankly excessive and off putting. Staff are formal and very professional, they even accommodated a date change on a non refundable payment, even if the negotiation was quite protracted.
Summary: Nice option but read the small print

Positive: The location of this lovely apartment is 1 minute from the Loire River and the many cute bistros and restaurants that run alongside it. The apartment itself is bright and welcoming. The two bedrooms provide ample space to unpack and spread out and feel at home. The living room has a comfy sofa as well as a dining table. There are pots, pans, utensils and the basic necessities for cooking and tidying up. There are plenty of supermarkets close by, and of course bakeries and places to go for a coffee. You can feel at home while on a really lovely holiday. Be sure to try the little boats that will take you across the river to explore Nantes as well.
Negative: There is really nothing to not like. Everything is lovely. One small detail is the difference between what is "1st floor" in different cultures. There was some confusion as I thought 1st floor meant the main (ground) floor. The apartment is actually on what I would call the "2nd floor," therefore finding the lockbox with the key was initially a little confusing. I think a picture of the door on the ground level plus a picture of the actual apartment door on the 2nd floor with a photo of the lockbox as well would be super helpful for guests. Other than that, everything is perfect. I would return in a flash, and highly recommend this property.
