Positive: Rita and her husband are exceptional hosts. My third day biking from Eindhoven toward Paris ended with mud, heavy rain, and a blown front tire about an hour out from the hotel. When my father texted ahead to say I'd be late, Rita called him within five minutes and offered to come find me. She drove out in the rain, loaded my muddy bike into her car, stopped at a local shop to check for a repair, and brought me back to Le Robinson where I got cleaned up, ate well, and slept more deeply than I have in years. The next morning she drove me 40 minutes to the nearest bike shop, kept me company on errands while we waited, and brought me back so I could continue to Paris. The room was clean and comfortable and the welcome was warm from the moment I arrived - but it's Rita and her husband's kindness I'll remember. They rescued my trip.
