Positive: Friendly staff.

Negative: Restaurant was closed on Sunday night and there is very very limited options to eat in Albert town centre on a Sunday night. We ended up having a kebab (albeit a very tasty one)

Summary: Hotel is on the edge of town. Plenty of car parking space.

Positive: Excellent breakfast good location for onward travel but well out of the centre so you have to get back in the car

Negative: There was absolutely no food available on a Sunday evening not even a snack or a sandwich which is totally unacceptable. Generally the hotel and room was very clean yet the only carpeted spot in the entire place the main staircase was a disgrace and was never cleaned the the two days we were there.

Positive: Rooms were clean and comfortable and staff friendly and helpful.

Negative: I knew the hotel was a walk away from the town centre. It's not too far, about a 10-15 minute walk, but if you want something close to town this probably isn't for you. The plus is if you have a car, there is plenty of parking and distance doesn't matter.

Negative: No hot water for the duration of our stay, despite running the tap for 15 minutes. No plug in the wash basin. Restaurant resembles a canteen, no atmosphere. Dinner food quality average and overpriced.

Positive: .Very clean, good sized room. Friendly staff: their English not good, my French not good, but we managed fine. Good value for money. The hotel is not close to the centre of town, but was a fairly short walk away.

Negative: Breakfast was adequate, not exceptional. The hotel probably doens't have any kitchen facilities so is very limited in what it can provide itself.

Summary: Very good for a couple of nights - would certainly stay again.

Positive: We stopped for one night to visit the Thiepval Monument and this hotel provided a nice, clean comfortable base. The rooms are well equipped and the bed was good. It is on the outskirts of town but walkable, even better in our car which had plenty of room in the large free car park.
