Summary: Our family stayed in this cottage for one week in July and another week at the end of August. We enjoyed both stays! The first week coincided with a heat wave. We missed having air conditioning, but we were grateful for the many ceiling fans. Everything was as expected. The only surprise was that the bedroom with twin beds, living room, and second bathroom are all on the lower level. Just something to be aware of if you're traveling with kids. It also meant not being able to use the living room area in the evenings, since it was directly beside the kids' bedroom. The close proximity to the Bowman forest was nice. We explored the trails a few times and got nice views of the lake. Unfortunately, there is no public swimming access on Lac Escalier, so we drove 25 min to Air, Eau, Bois park to take the kids to the beach. We also discovered a great playground and splash pad in Val-des-Bois.

Summary: We had a fantastic time at this cottage, the pictures are true to the place. The park and lake were close by for great snowshoeing and hiking experiences. Plenty of things to do inside and outside the cottage.

Summary: We had a fantastic week of summer vacation at Le Sauna. Beautiful, large, landscaped property with easy water access (public boat launch 4 minutes down the road), room to play outside, outdoor fire pit to enjoy, hiking, biking, outdoor activities all available to do. Lots of indoor activities for rainy days, too, including a screened-in sun room, lots of games, tv, yoga room and of course the amazing sauna! This cottage is fully equipped and clean, with enough room for 2 adults and 2 teens to give each other space to relax. Your time at this cottage can be as slow or as busy as you want it to be. Want to work remotely without distraction? This place has great wifi, so you can stay connected but out of reach. The owners are wonderful, very quick to respond to messages and care about being good hosts to their guests. I would not hesitate to recommend this cottage to anyone. Book it, and look forward to a relaxing stay!

Summary: Beautiful landscape and a large house with everything you need to enjoy your stay . Nice area and a cute Richelieu with good méat and wines . We went fishing on a private lake and I catch a 4 pounds Rainbow trout .
