Summary: Beautiful countryside, lots of walking paths. Unexpected Excellent restaurant and great service. Nice place to relax for a couple of days. Lots of WW1 history in the area.

Summary: The place is in a very quiet area. The rooms are OK, and quite clean. The pool is super nice at the end of the day's work. The food at the restaurant is excellent, but finally the staff is for sure among the nicest I've seen in my recent travels. Would definitely return if travelling to the area again.

Summary: i absolutely loved this hotel! the staff was phenomenal and very accommodating. I ate in the dining room twice, once for dinner and also for breakfast (buffet), both of which were superb. The hotel is situated in a lovely, wooded setting. The room was spacious and wonderfully quiet (!) and the bed/linens perfect. I cannot wait to go back.

Summary: Wonderful place to stay! Excellent Service, beautiful place. Unfortunately, there was a group of people having an event and some of those people left in the very early morning at 3.30am with a bus. The problem as such was not the early leaving, but the lack of decency. They were talking so loud outside that we both woke up and couldn't find any sleep until they finally left.

Summary: At the top of a small road away from it all, Le Tulipier was a great place to stay. Bedroom and bathroom was clean and comfortable. Lovely surrounds and many places to visit from there. Staff were very helpful, but spoke little English. Restaurant was quite good, but we only stayed one night and I am sure there are many restaurants in the surrounding villages which would be worth a try.

Summary: This hotel is new and a bit out of the way sitting in a very wooded area next to a very small town--but very nice. The real find here was a restaurant in nearby Apremont-sur-Aire. It was great with good prices.

Summary: Read the whole review before making a decision about staying! The hotel is around eight years old, but was not built to a very high standard originally. The plumbing leaked in numerous locations so a comprehensive refurbishment is being undertaken, starting in February 2012 - according to the management. However - the rooms were still clean and tidy and the the service and welcome were impeccable. The restaurant was fantastic; lovely atmosphere and excellent food. I will be staying again.
