Positive: Beautiful and comfortable apartment with every convenience necessary. We stayed for 2 nights in July as a family of 5. We all had our own spacious room, with very comfortable beds and bedding, lovely décor including original French windows and shutters. Modern and excellently equipped kitchen and bathrooms with every mod con. Little balcony for sitting to have a café and watch the city moving. Green area in front of the apartment building. Less than 5 mins walk to city centre. Supermarket, excellent restaurants, McDonalds for kids and nice squares all easily accessible. Carpark approx 7 mins walk away so make sure you have everything you need when you park. You can park in front of the apartment to unload first by following the 1 way system behind the apartment. (Take 1st right after the green the apartment is on, go over cobblestones, next right and then left. When unpacked, turn car around and go straight until you hit the bollard and this will lift automatically when approached). Handy before you park up. Very safe and secure cafpark. Despite there being no air-con, we were fine in 28-30°heat. Keep shutters closed during the day and open the windows on return and excellent air ventilation cools it down. Just make sure to close and use anti-mosquito spray liberally before sleep to avoid getting bitten!! The courtyard in the centre of the block attracts them. Élise was a lovely, welcoming host and made the experience so easy with the video she sends once you have booked. Meeting her on the last day, she was very friendly, kind and attentive. Thank you Élise! 5 stars all around!!
Negative: An apparent banking issue on one of our ends meant there was quite a delay in receiving the deposit back into my account. This was unfortunate but Élise kept in touch daily until it was resolved. Excellent after sales customer service! I highly recommend Le Turenne! Enjoy!!
