Positive: The location was excellent, as we were visiting the Versailles Palace, which was a 2/3 minute walk away. There were plenty of places to eat nearby, a handy supermarket and interesting shops near the market. The apartment was perfect. Well appointed with all the amenities for a two night stay or longer. The ideal place to start our Versailles adventure. The hosts gave us a introduction video and clear instructions for arrival and departure which were so helpful as we've never been to Versailles before. I heartily recommend this apartment and would return in a heartbeat.
Negative: The stairs were a bit of a climb, but were also part if the historic charm.

Positive: The location was fantastic and we loved being able to see the top of the Chapel Royal. We also loved hearing the bells from Église Notre Dame which was close by. The kitchen was well equipped and the coffee machine a winner. Comfortable sofa. The apartment was nice and clean and unusually, I did not feel as though I had to clean the place and the crockery before using it. The concierge service were always ready to help if necessary and it was a comfort knowing you could get in touch with them easily. NB: If you struggle to walk up stairs, this apartment is not for you. There are a lot of stairs.
Negative: The door lock needs attention, because it is very hard to open. Also it is too easy to lock yourself out. The bathroom basin is so shallow that the water bounces out of it and the tap wobbles. All things that are easy to fix. Because it is an old building with old plumbing, there can be a drain smell, which can be negated if the right products are left. However, the apartment is in such a good location, with nice views, well equipped and the concierge is very helpful, so in my view, putting a bit of cleaning fluid down the plug holes and toilet is a small price to pay.
Summary: Great location, well equipped, excellent concierge.
