Summary: Great little cottage for a family vacation. Fire pit, basement with pool table. Close to lakes. Little store on corner for all your quick needs. Kitchen has pretty good stock for cooking for family dinners. Great place to stay.

Summary: Surface cleaning fine. Unfortunately one of the few restaurants in town closed before our stay. We lost sleep the second night due to malfunctioning carbon monoxide alarm and third night due to toilet making loud noises. The owner gave us a refund only for the fourth night as we left a day early. Owner was friendly.

Summary: When staying at a VRBO property the check in instructions are sent thru the VRBO platform and my email. I couldn't find our check in instructions on the VRBO platform or my email. Making it very confusing. To be fair the address was sent by VRBO earlier in the week. We knew the address but had difficulty retrieving the check in code to enter. Which delayed our trip. The owner contacted us at 2:00 the day of arrival to tell us she had the heat on a program, and that we could higher it when we arrived. I always receive instructions thru the VRBO platform. We have stayed at over 12 properties in the last six years and have never encountered a problem with checking in before. I didn't realize until later that she sent a text message using my phone to send check in instructions. The text message said ...your code for staying at the Lilly is....I actually thought that text was sent by mistake. As there was no address connected to that text. We had no idea what the Lilly even meant. All in all lack of communication was an issue. In the future I would suggest using the VRBO platform and the customers email to send correspondence in the future. That is how we have retrieved all of our correspondence with checking in at other properties on VRBO.

Summary: The house was very clean and located in a central area. The only suggestion I would have would be to improve communication with the renter as I did not have any details regarding entry, etc. until I was on the doorstep and called the property owner. I would suggest Providing the renter with details as to how to enter the premises etc. before the date of the occupation. Otherwise, I would recommend this property for a weekend getaway.

Summary: The stay was pleasant and the owner was very responsive. Older home, but very clean and tidy. Convenient location to many areas for fishing, golf, and tourism. Will definitely go back.

Summary: We loved this house. It was reasonably priced so we decided to check out this property. We were not disappointed. The kitchen is well stocked to cook. The beds were comfy. We loved the town it is in. Right down the road is a gas station/grocery store that was just adorable. It is so close if you've forgotten anything they'll have it. The house is located off of a road, but our dog used the expansive back yard so that was fine with him. All in all we would definitely stay here again. We absolutely loved the decor! Thank you Kathy for hosting us. Happy Fall!
