This unique Sunrise Lake vacation get-away is only 2.5 hours Northwest of Detroit and 1 hour north of Grand Rapids. Come, and enjoy, a secluded mid-Michigan respite: close enough to nature to enjoy it; but within driving distance of other activities, too! Roomy, air-conditioned, with high-speed Internet access, plus a private beach, dock, 2 firepits, 1 Webber grill, and a multi-level deck, the property offers a panoramic lake view, in peaceful surroundings. The property has a fully-equipped kitchen, a gas fireplace, and wood stove, a sunroom, 2 great rooms/living rooms, and 5 bedrooms for everyone's privacy.
Fishing boat, canoe, 4 kayaks, and a paddle boat are on the beach.
Check out the local attractions to explore the possibilities in our area. We are only 6 miles from "The Rose" (an excellent golf course) and The Cadillac Winery. We are also right around the lake from The Sunrise Lake Bar and Grill (a rustic "joint" renowned for its Friday night fish fries!).
This spacious home is fully equipped with all kitchen equipment and bedroom accessories so that you can just bring your toys, your books, your clothes, your personal toiletries, and food to cook in the kitchen or on the gas grill, and your JOY/ENERGY to enjoy your family/friends. It is ideal to accommodate large (and smaller) parties, who value their space, privacy, fun, and key amenities.

Summary: The property is beautiful and the house was immaculate. Plenty of room. Awesome to have a hot tub. The beach area was great and we made lots of use of the kayaks. I cannot think of one thing that was not right. The host is very thoughtful, even has basic spices in cupboard, and pretty much anything you could need (except we never did locate a pair of scissors, lol). We would stay again in a heart beat.

Summary: Inside of house was spot on with cleanliness and how updated it was. Some small things to repair in house (clogged sink, lots of cabinet doors falling off, ice makers not working, hot tub needed to be cleaned, lots of carpenter ants inside of house, etc.) but nothing to make us not want to come back. Plenty of space inside for 14 people when weather outside isn't great. Outside property could be better maintained, as it seemed it hasn't been in awhile. Beach was great! Sun all day long! Boat has been poorly maintained and nothing works on it except motor, lol, so it gets you around! I would recommend asking for pics before paying for rental of boat and bringing your own life jackets as there was only 3 total and they werent in great shape. Lake is very clean and clear water. Caught some decent Bass off the beach. Overall I would go back, just would be nice to see some of those smaller things taken care of for the amount of money that was spent for 3 day weekend. I still would give it 4.5 stars as we all had a blast!

Summary: Our family had a wonderful time at the Leroy Lake House. There was plenty of beds for our family ( 7 adults, 6 children). The kids enjoyed the hot tub, sandy beach and kayaks.

Summary: The house worked well for our group. It provided privacy for all with separate bedroom areas and many places to relax. It is an older house remodeled. The layout is quirky but cute. We enjoyed the hot tub and firepit. Cassandra was very responsive from booking to check out. It should be noted that the roads at this time of year are difficult to maneuver. They were extremely muddy with deep ruts.

Summary: We stayed here for a brief retreat and enjoyed the space. The main room is cozy with a fireplace and the hot tub is a nice addition. The house has a few different sitting areas if you want to spread out, but we mostly utilized the main room with the kitchen, dining table, and couch. The road leading to the house is not paved and had some pretty decent size holes so definitely bring a high clearance vehicle with four wheel drive, especially in the winter. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed to cook, it just took a little searching to find things. The one thing we couldn't find was a good vegetable peeler (there was one, but it didn't work very well) and only a few of the knives were very sharp. Overall the kitchen was well stocked though. Extra cozy blankets throughout the house were a nice touch as well.

Summary: This property had everything we needed for a long unplugged weekend with the family…including lots of blankets for snuggling on the couch. Easily able to accommodate 6 kids and 7 adults. Lots of sleeping and seating options.
