Negative: The living room and bathroom both very cold ! Extremely cold , even if you increase the heating…. It was rainy and very cold outside and still after one day the ground floor was cold . It would have been nice to know that the location has a restaurant where we can have dinner ! After a very long drive and bad weather we found out about this but we were told that is fully booked and we better hurry because all the restaurants are full in the area! So after a very tiring day , we did search a restaurant in an area that we didn t know , with no information given about and luckily we found one… It is not soundproofing! Very early in the morning we heard the other residents making a terrible noise , running and it was indeed very disturbing as it was 6 o clock in the morning !

Positive: The apartment is in the best location in La Petite Pierre, and maybe in the entire region. It's up a quiet pedestrian only stone road with a church and chateau at the end. Beautiful! The design touches in the apartment far exceeded expectations; the host has thought of everything -- including a cloth shopping bag for each unit. It's incredibly cute, great shower, bed and kitchen. I would 100% stay here again.

Positive: This is the third consecutive year we've gone here to welcome in the new year -- and to get our dog out of Amsterdam and the fireworks -- which should tell you everything you need to know. The apartment is fantastic, the kitchen is really well appointed, the little village is picturesque AF, and it is so beautifully peaceful in the evenings. We can walk in the woods directly from the apartment: just walk around the castle walls and you're in the national park! We can also walk ten minutes from the door for good restaurants and a cute town. It's about 20 minutes to drive to the nearest good grocery store, but that drive is so adorable you won't really mind. The restaurant downstairs run by the owners is absolutely wonderful. We had an excellent meal on the 30th of January.
Negative: The weather is not good, but that is hardly the fault of the property. Nor is it a surprise. If we wanted something other than a bit of clouds and rain we probably should not have gone to Alsace in December.
Summary: Comfortable, well-appointed apartment in an adorable village with kind hosts.
