Positive: This is a beautiful and wonderfully relaxing resort with easy access to other sites in the region. The food is good and the service is lovely. There’s a pretty big difference though between the single rooms vs the villas, so spring for a villa if at all possible. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

Negative: The ocean front rooms could use some updating.

Summary: Beautiful views and incredibly relaxing. Top notch!

Positive: Overall facilities are very stylish and well designed, but a little aged although good. The staff was exceptional friendly, polite and professional. They fulfilled all wishes instantly.

Negative: It is not a dislike, but you have to know it is about 30 min driving from Maolbaol. But there is an affordable and individual transfer service available. We enjoyed the quiet and lovely place!

Positive: Atmosphere, the ambiance, the location.

Negative: The food has limited selection, the windows does have gaps in between for the insects to come in, the internet is too weak in the room to think there is no television , the toilet can’t open the windows (no exhaust), limited sun beds and only one cabana to be used by 10 guest. The beach front is not being cleaned by the property attendant and I was the one cleaning it for 3 times as I usually woke up quite early in the morning. I saw the dogs from the neighbors and also the resident dogs using the beachfront as their toilet doing number 1 and 2 . I was there as the dogs pooping, I have to remove it physically. It seems that the property attendants are not checking the beachfront. The transport is way too expensive.

Positive: Pancake the cat is the sweetest furball on four legs. The rooms are super lovely, the resort is spacious. There are so many chill-out areas and the staff are very accommodating. The food is incredible. Super recommend for your relaxing holiday in the Philippines.

Positive: The resort is the perfect place to relax between the many different activities and excursions that the island of Cebu offers. The staff is simply excellent, both in the service and in the organisation of excursions. The bamboo bedroom where we stayed was amazing, literally 5 meters from the beach with crystal clear water.

Negative: It was inconvenient to swim in the sea. The floor was very rocky and the water level was quite low for at least 20/30 meters. Also, the food served in the resort was not particularly good.

Positive: Tranquil and peaceful beachfront living set within a beautiful grounds. Langing, Chilli and Khyla were very attentive and made the stay extra special with every need catered for, especially for my 1 and 3 year olds. Met some lovely people from the local neighbourhood just outside the resort who invited me in for a drink and snacks. The studio was traditional style with a very comfy enormous bed in the middle.

Negative: The only black mark was I ordered the cordon bleu one night and it wasn’t cooked all the way through, but this does not take away from the amazing time me and my family had at les Maisons .

Positive: The location, friendliest staff and cosy rooms. Def get the massages - Ms Mercy for strong deep tissue, and Ms Jacky for gentler/softer more energizing treatments. Ms. Lenny and Ms. chilly at front desk were always attentive and patient. Fab staff! We also loved going snorkeling, and the relaxing at the pool after.

Negative: Seafood dishes at the restaurant used Frozen fish :( still tasty though.
